Then Mick & Iris (Barry's designee) work on a relationship contract for Barry & Len, ending in a wedding.

On Display by canthelpmyselves 29k, E. An entire getting-together narrative with wedding reception & speeches in the last chapter. Barry owns and performs at a sex club, and he doesn't date because of some particularities/peculiarities he has when it comes to sex, partially due to OCD. After Len finds out about the club, they spend some time together, talk about Barry's needs, and build a relationship that works well for them. Heads up that this fic is not very Iris friendly imo (in that she is written as disapproving, jealous, and disrespectful of Barry's boundaries), in case that's not your thing. Either way, the last chapter mostly stands alone and is definitely worth reading for Mick's best man speech.

I am being so genuine when I say I am so glad mr Wentworth prison break Miller survived depression and hollywood and came out publicly and ultimately made it out the other side to play a gay cunty villain in a bad cw show. Truly aspirational. Just another small example of maybe it'll all be kinda okay in the end

Legends of Tomorrow may have been a beautiful garbage fire, but they really had something with Zari 2.0.

You become an overnight childhood celebrity, create an influencer business that makes you and your family incredibly wealthy. Your loser, stoner, brother (that's always had issues with you) brings you to join his group of weird time travelling superhero friends. But there's a catch.

They've all befriended and fallen in love with an alternate version of you. They are constantly disappointed and unimpressed with you, wishing you were someone else.

So you use an ancient magical heirloom to meditate and connect with this alternate you, a version of you that you can never be. And what do you find? She's everything they say about her and more, you talk and connect with yourself on a deeper level than anyone else possibly could. She talks about her brother, someone you never knew, the love she felt for him, the pain of losing him. You talk about your brother, the one she so desperately wanted to save. You find a version of yourself that was willing, not just to die, but to erase herself from existence to save her brother. She couldn't bear to live in a world without her brother, and you realise that you're the same. For all your arguing and fighting, you also love your brother. So you come back to the real world with a new found love of your brother, only to find that while you were gone he was killed. Your relationship, that was just starting to heal, is gone. The alternate you that erased herself for him was wasted, it didn't work. He died all the same.

So you sit there, next to his lifeless body and just sit there, you don't move. The others pick him up and prepare him for a funeral and you sit there.

It's a damn good scene.

Can we talk about Barry’s absolute lack of fear, though?

I mean, sure, Snart is with the Legends now, playing hero, but still: this is a man who’s tried to kill him before, who’s betrayed him, who’s proved time and again how ruthless he is, and he’s aiming a piece of dangerous, potentially lethal weaponry right at Barry.

And sure, Barry is desperate and needs Leonard’s help, but this right there? That’s not an appeasing ‘hear me out before you shoot’. Between the way Barry looks down and the adorably awkward little wave, it’s clear that’s he’s thoroughly unconcerned about the threat of the cold gun. There’s no trepidation. No grandstanding either, none of the usual ‘I know there’s good’ appeal to Snart’s better nature to get him to put down the gun. In fact, Barry not only fails to acknowledge the gun – he doesn’t even pay attention to it; that’s how absolutely sure he is that Snart’s not going to use it against him (or at least not in a way that really does any harm).

This shouldn’t give me as many shipper feelings as it does, but… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
