Welp, one singular person asked for my dissertation on Paige and Azzi being our Universe’s Percy and Annabeth, so here goes.

While that is a fortunate coincidence, it is arguably the least important parallel between the two couples.

The two aspects of my explanation will be: timeline, and individual personality traits.

This format of a timeline shows the similarities in the progression of their relationship, as well as the events that happen after they are together. Plus, Paige would be the person that would fall into literal hell so Azzi wouldn’t be alone.

Next up, similarities between the characters and their real life counterparts themselves:

Honestly, the only real difference that I could think of was Annabeth’s fatal flaw being pride, and I couldn’t see that really applying to Azzi as much. She would however, choose not to become an immortal hunter of Artemis even BEFORE being in a relationship with Paige.
