Well, if you want to know just how unhinged French Ghetsis is, here you go !

(TW for Ghetsis verbally abusing N, Ghetsis verbally abusing Alder, Ghetsis frenchily disrespecting the player)

In BW1, Ghetsis calls N "incapable", a "creature", and then claims that "words can not reach this abomination".

In BW2, he calls N "la bancale créature à figure humaine", which translates to "the wobbly human-shaped creature". He also calls him "marionnette", which means "puppet", and then calls him "foolish creature". He then finishes off with a good "Grotesque parodie d'être humain ! Aberration de la nature ! Cesse d'utiliser ce langage qui n'est pas le tien !", which translates into "Disgusting parody of a human being ! Aberration of nature ! Stop using this language that is not yours !"

French Ghetsis is also much meaner to Alder in BW1, going : "But wouldn't it be that good Master Alder ? Whose partner Pokémon died of a terrible disease years ago ? And who, entrusting the care of the League to the Elite Four, set off on the roads of Unova to wander at his leisure ?" WHAT KIND OF LOW BLOW IS THAT, THIS MAN IS GRIEVING ???

Ghetsis belonging to some sort of royalty is also made obvious by his dialogues, as he is overly polite and uses complex words and sentences (stereotypically given to higher social class characters), and refers to the people of Unova as "la plèbe" ("the plebs") and "les bouseux" ("the dunghills"), demeaning words for lower class people. He is just... Really classist in his dialogues

If you want to go deeper, French has a respect system when using pronouns. You call someone "vous" (plural you) if there are several people, or if you are being polite (usually, this is for a stranger, a superior, a teacher, or generally showing respect. You usually call people older than yourself "vous"). If you call someone "tu" (singular you), it's either a family member, a friend or a child. If you use "tu" when adressing someone who isn't a friend, family or a child, it's usually seen as disrespectful, and in certain cases infantilizing. In Pokémon, most characters use "tu" to express that they are friendly or know you well enough to do so.

However, Ghetsis calls everyone "vous" (the pronoun showing respect) EXCEPT THE PLAYER ?? This mf is giving just a pinch of disrespect underneath all the politeness. It's a very subtle things, but it speaks volumes about how petty he is and just how much he despises the player. This could be played off as Ghetsis using the "tu" pronouns for a child, but coming from him, it's clearly a way to demean you and infantilize you. Plus, he calls Bianca (same age as the protag) a "damsel" which, even in French, sounds overly polite. So yeah Ghetsis is subtly infantilizing you and mocking you in French

Weirdly enough though, N uses "tu" for Ghetsis in BW2. This would mean that they were actually pretty close. This is a big contrast to Lillie and Lusamine, where Lillie uses "vous" to talk to her mother, creating a much bigger distance between them.
