bobby, barely holding it together himself, sees hen about to burst into tears and immediately takes her under his arm, shoving aside his terror and grief to comfort her. eddie beelines to a shell-shocked chim, needing to comfort, needing camaraderie. but his jaw is clenched, his chin wobbling violently, he's shaking his head desperately to keep the roaring waves of terror at bay. so bobby grabs him too, pulling him close, allowing eddie to lean on him too. it doesn't matter that bobby feels like he's about to shatter right there, it doesn't matter that it feels like his heart is being dragged away from him on a hospital stretcher, what matters is that his team is falling apart and he has to keep them together.

abstract (psychopomp) by hozier is definitely one of my most favourite songs ever written, but I can’t listen to it without having a complete emotional meltdown. like. the rawness and the pure humanity in those lyrics. the love and the pain, the choiceless devotion to something fleeting, which you know won’t make it through the night, but to something you feel for, with, nonetheless. something you, as a Human, have no choice but to love.

it’s just simply a lyrical and emotional masterpiece and I’ve been extremely normal about it for more than a year now.

honestly you all are so annoying because motherhood IS interesting but fandom people are simultaneously obsessed with deciding that every woman has motherly qualities and completely disinterested in actually exploring motherhood as a role that informs a character. I do think exploring a character being a mother can be wildly interesting if they are canonically one, but because of misogyny, people just view motherhood as a totally unremarkable naturalized state that all women must inhabit!

one of the best fics i've ever read, one that had me addicted to my phone and crying, wasn't even prose. it was a huge, casual, bullet-pointed outline with every detail of an au that the author never got around to writing in full. and it was amazing.

let this be a message to all you who want to write but can't do it "normally": write it! someone out there will eat it up. whether that be poetry, tiny drabbles, or bullet pointed list: your work is always worth it. your art (yes, art!) will alway deserve to have its moment in the spotlight. why? because you made it. even if it wasn't done in a traditional matter, it came from your brain and your creativity and that is amazing.
