Anyways another idea; all somewhat healthy ships in PJO has something called interactional synchrony. Basically, they copy each other’s body language subconsciously a LOT and reflect them in little ways. Percy and Annabeth have the same head tilt, Frank and Hazel usually smile at the same time, Nico and Will have similar nose scrunches and both Jason and Leo bit the inside of their cheeks while thinking.

Worse yet cutest part? They will never know until someone points it out and then all of these new tics and behaviors they adopted being around their person kinda start to make sense.

I love them.

HC: Valgrace match each other’s freak on such a level, it’s insane. Jason gets pinned down by a monster, old wolf instincts takes over and he bites the monster’s throat out. Everyone is clutching their pearls but Leo just yells “HOLY SHIT!” and looks damn near delighted because that was so cool.

One of Leo’s inventions explode a monster, covers the main seven ALL in monster blood. While Percy is thinking “I’ll never be clean again.”, Leo and Jason are turning to each other with wide smiles and giggles.

They match each other’s freak, your honor.

Well, it’s pretty similar to last blog names, which I got from the name Doki Doki Literature Club with the “_chr” theme. I just put my nickname there (my name is anderson, nicknamed anders) and there you go. anders_chr. I modeled my other social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) with similar/the same username. Easier to keep track of everything. I know it’s pretty mundane compared to anyone else, but hey, it grew on me and I like it.

Mine is because I had just finished being utterly eviscerated by one half of my OTP getting hit by a car (on the cusp of them getting to live happily together against all the odds on a show I genuinely trusted to be BETTER than that. Reader, they were not better than that), and I felt the burning need to create a fandom blog RIGHT THAT SECOND so I could share the pain with other fans without totally flooding my main blog with it (in retrospect, I should have just flooded it. But ah well).

Only I still had actual tears running down my face so was not in much of a state to choose, and am in general just SO BAD AT NAMING THINGS. And I was feeling a little silly for caring so much about what happened to these fictional characters in the first place, so I went with exactly what I was feeling in that moment, which was WAY too invested in a tv show. The plan was always to change it to something better as a soon as I calmed down and worked out what that might be.

Only remember the part about how I am SO BAD at naming things?

Yeah. Well, that never went away. And then people started getting to know me as waytooinvested and therefore changing it would cause confusion, and, well, now it's 10 years later and here we are.

I still want to change it. I still don't know what to change it to. I still have the issue of once more being known by this name and not wanting to accidentally lose people via a change.

I’m offering my two cents in an attempt to keep the Lumine fandom alive, so let me present you with a headcanon I strongly believe in — Kody and Lumine are both protective and possessive over each other.

But in different and more subtle ways.

With Lumine, it’s instinct, right? He’s a werewolf, he’s genetically wired to protect what’s his. And Kody is HIS best friend, HIS partner, literally the guy he was supposed to be protecting. Lumine’s is less “Oh I control you, you’re mine” and more “I protect you BECAUSE you’re mine” Pack mentality kinda goes hard with this guy. And it’s usually half-subconscious and he’s WAY more obvious about it. Lumine is kinda like a guard dog, usually behind Kody and usually has an eye on him. And doenst exactly make an effort to hide it because why should he?? Unfortunately, that means Kody is on his ass about it, despite literally being the same.

With Kody, it’s conscious but not in the way you think. He’s had EVERYTHING taken away from him at some point. The idea he could have magic, his friends, his happiness, his cat, and now his dad. He may be a powerless witch but he’s gonna be a bit more protective over Lumine and possessive because of the fear of losing someone again. Less “you belong to me, you answer to me” and more “You belong to me as much as I belong to you and I will always hold onto what’s mine”. And with Kody? You’d never know it because he pretends like he doesn’t care but he’s definitely intently listening to Kody talk with that person he just met.

But yeah. That’s my headcanon.

Like just imagine in that scene where it’s revealed, Chucky being the asshole he is stated that Devon won’t do anything because he’s in Jake’s body and Devon? Sweet, disposable Devon? Oh, he’d never lay a finger on Jake.

And Devon tells him he doesn’t know what he’s talking about but Chucky is pretty certain he does. Even bucks at Devon to prove a point, and to Devon’s drowning case, he flinches. On instinct. Chucky laughs, and that’s when he slaps Devon.

And not just a little playful one. A full on, turn your head sideways slap.

After processing the pain, Devon actually chuckles. Like a “oh, that was cute but now I’m pissed off” kind of chuckle and just straights up PUNCHES the guy right back. Like probably broke his nose. And it’s straight up silence before Chucky tries to stike again just for Devon to knee this guy in the stomach and send him down a flight of stairs.

Caroline’s like “what did you do to him” and goes to help but Nice Devon has left the building completely so Devon grabs her either by her collar or by her hair and says, “Unless you want to end up unconscious like HE’S about to be, I suggest you play nice with your sister and get the hell out of here.”

And he lets her go and turns to Lexy and says, “Talk some sense into your psycho little sister, get out of here, get help,” and just casually takes off his jacket and says, “I can handle the possessed weirdo I called my boyfriend on my own.” and goes down the stairs after said possessed killer boyfriend.

LIKE MAKE HIM STAND ON BUSINESS. HE’S DONE IT BEFORE. MAKE HIM STAND UP. LIKE COME ON.

And a random HC I have is Devon knows how to fight. You’re telling me he had a mother for a detective, his father died, he had taser and he didn’t know how to defend himself without it? It would’ve been pretty cool if we saw him being forced to physically defend himself while Chucky possessed Jake.

Oh I absolutely believe Devon knows how to fight. You think his detective mother wouldn't put him in some kind of self defense class? Especially after losing his father.

That would have been so cool to see!

Okay, unfortunately I do not ask about used cars but I do have a headcanon that I think would’ve add a lot of character to Thor if it was in the movies: But Thor can control lighting, storms, thunder but it’s all directly tied to his emotions.

Like think in Raganork (or however you spell it), when Odin disappeared in magical golden pixie dust, you can see Thor’s fist bawl and electricity is surrounding it AND the clouds start to darken while he looks at Loki says “This is all your fault.” And Loki, for a minute there, looks scared. I feel like this isn’t the first time Loki’s been on the other end of a violent storm, caused by his brother’s emotions.

Then, in The Avengers, when Loki is on the Quinjet and thunder is loud, he seems visibly shaken and Steve asks “What, are you afraid of a little thunder?” to which Loki responds “I’m not too fond of what comes with it.” Loki knows exactly what storms show what mood Thor is in. And when he heard that thunder? I’m pretty sure he KNEW in his gut that Thor was beyond pissed. Thor was livid.

And it would create an even tenser situation with his father, who definitely would’ve made him suppress his emotions because of his storms. Because he feels so deeply and hugely, he could be angry over the smallest of things and accidentally strike a statue with lightning. I think Mjlonir was given to Thor specifically so he’d be able to control it rather than let his emotions do the work.

You remember that storm in Thor (2011) right as Thor was going to get Mjlonir? HE 100% CAUSED THAT.

Yessss I’ve noticed the whole “storms are tied to Thor’s emotions” thing, and I’ve included it somewhat in one of my fics, but what you brought up is so interesting to explore, especially how loki reacts. I feel like there’s so much we missed pre-canon, we explored Thor’s powers a little in Ragnarok but they kinda tossed it away with IW and Endgame, I agree that the whole emotional aspect would be an amazing trait.

You’ve got me thinking now about what Thor might’ve done to make Loki so scared, and I have a post-Ragnarok au where Loki lives with him in New Asgard, so I think it would be fun to write about, maybe something along the lines of “Thor gets emotional again and he sees how scared Loki gets, so they talk about it”.

Oh, and the fact Mjolnir was givin to Thor to control it, I feel like that’s actually canon. I can imagine a pre-Thor (2011) era where Thor is just causing havoc on Asgard because he’s angry with something, Odin would definitely have to step in and possibly make him even angrier, and he’d go to Loki in search for consolation, but things get more out of hand and he ends up hurting someone (possibly even Loki)

I love this headcanon a lot, it’s something I’ve seen portrayed in fics, but I’ve never seen something entirely dedicated to it. Thank you for bringing this up, and inadvertently giving me some inspiration lol, I love to talk about this kinda stuff with people.

Hear me out on why I think Loki is personally scared when Thor gets emotional. Maybe he was in the wrong place, wrong time and said the wrong thing and before Thor could control it, lightning struck his brother. From collarbone to ribs, Loki has a very huge scar from being struck.

(Right after Loki got struck down, Thor just kept apologizing and hoping that he was okay. The thunder stopped but then rain began to pour heavily. By the time Frigga and Odin got there, both boys were soaked and Thor was bawling his eyes out.)

One of my personal favorite headcanons (CaitVi or just Vi in general) is that Vi knows how to play chess. Mainly because Powder and Ekko played it all the time as children, and Powder loves dragging her sister into things she likes. So from watching them play, Vi learned how to play on her own. And got pretty damn good at it. But when she left Powder, she temporarily stopped playing and started back playing when she met Caitlyn.

I don’t even think she needs a board for it. She knows how to visualize it and still keep track of her moves.

Like imagine they’re in Piltover. Caitlyn goes to get something, maybe changes, and when she comes back, Vi somehow found a forgotten chess board and started playing against herself while muttering her moves.

Caitlyn just hears “White opens with D4, and when black plays symmetrically then…white can put this thing here. And black takes the free pawn, White is down a pawn but has full control over the center with the knight. Then—“ And that’s when Vi notices her and immediately stops playing.

And Caitlyn is just looking at her with a half-confused and half-intrigued expression because One. Where did Vi learn how to play? (She didn’t know chess boards were in the Undercity.) And two; when’d she get so good at playing?

But if I said Thor and Loki both have BPD but Thor is more quiet BPD while Loki is more recognized BPD which is why Loki is more villainized and Thor isn’t/gets constant passes but never gets the help he needs.
