This one was pretty easy to draw since there wasn't a lot of detail to cover. That aside and after some consideration, I've finally gotten around into making a drawing of the Virginian Railway's 6800HP beast, the GE EL-2B

Between August 6th and August 9th, 1945, the United States dropped two atomic bombs, named Little Boy and Fat Man, on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. Two Boeing B-29 Superfortresses, named Enola Gay and Bockscar, would be assigned to the task of dropping the bombs on those two cities leading to the total deaths of 150,000–246,000 lives. Weeks later on September 2nd, the Japanese government signed a surrender treaty aboard the USS Missouri thus ending WWII.
These horrific events remain as the only times of the usage of a nuclear weapon in an armed conflict. In the months afterwards, many people have died from the effects of burns, radiation sickness, and other injuries, followed up by illness and malnutrition. Since then, there has been much debate regarding ethical and legal justification for the bombings as some say it was necessary while others say it wasn't.
To this day, the Atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki continue to remain as a reminder of what atomic weapons are capable of doing and more importantly, a reminder of those who lost their lives. This was made in dedication to the victims and survivors of these life-changing events for we still remember what happened back then 80 years later.

Starting tomorrow, I'll be unavailable until August the third (8/03) since I'm going on a camping trip to Yellowstone National Park so don't expect anything until I return. But When I do comeback, I'll be posting some pictures of Yellowstone. Until then, have a good one.

Although I've drawn some Milwaukee Road locomotives before, they're electrics. So this time, I wanted to draw a steam engine from that railroad, And of course I had to draw S3 No. 261.

"Midnight Hour"
Southern Pacific GS-4 No. 4442 thunders along the Pacific Coast through the warm summer night with train no. 76, the Southbound Lark, towards Los Angeles, California as the passengers onboard the train sleep peacefully.

Note: Before you say anything, yes I know these are actually the Cascades coaches, it's just they're closest I can get to the coaches used for the Lark.

When it came to drawing the New Haven EP-5, the only tedious parts were the pantographs and electrical components on the roof as well as the bogey truck. Those aside, this was an easy locomotive to draw.

"Big Sky Blue"
Great Northern F45 No. 438, SD45 No. 419, and F45 No. 429 leads an eastbound freight through Montana's Marias Pass on an unusually cool Summer day as they show off the railroad's shortlived "Big Sky Blue" livery. This scene is taking place a little more than half a year before the GN would merge with the Northern Pacific, Burlington Route, and Spokane Portland & Seattle to create Burlington Northern.

Here's another classic streamlined diesel, one such that pulled the original California Zephyr along the Western Pacific's portion of the route.

I bet some of you should've expected me to build Norfolk Southern's Delaware & Hudson heritage unit. And on top of that, this is my first time using Vibrant Visuals for anything Minecraft related.
