Why isn't buck ginger?

Butchie isn’t a natural ginger either!! He’s got the most damaged hair anyone’s ever seen from the hair dye. He uses the cheap garbage to dye it like once a week. Also I’m pretty sure being ginger is a recessive trait so it skips a generation??? If I remember those square things with genes right…

Also Buck is based off of myself just like all my self inserts so he looks pretty similar to me which is another reason. My hair is brown so his is too!! I should draw him ginger though….

Fun fact about Buck to explain the crying thing: he calls Butchie “mama” when he’s super upset because his real parents aren’t the most attentive… Butchie is basically a parent and a big brother at this point. Not that he minds.

Self-Insert Introduction!!

Name: Buck Sinclair

Age: 12 years old.

Description: sickly with an unsettling presence.

Further information: Buck isn’t actually Bo Sinclair’s biological son. Bo killed his parents and found their baby left in the hot car, deciding to take it in. Many of Buck’s odd mannerisms or appearances are attributed (by Bo) to the severe heatstroke he suffered from as an infant. Bo thought he was brain dead for months because of the odd ways he’d stared at people as a baby. He lives in suburbia in the scariest house on the block, made scarier by the fact that Lester Sinclair put up an electric fence with the voltage of a car battery. Buck has little interest in the outside world or other people but he enjoys company and learning about the world around him. Everything he needs is with his family and his father always said “never trust anyone who’s not a Sinclair.” Despite his stoic and oddly mature personality, Buck has a large emotional range. Not only that, his emotions often become all-consuming. Anger is hatred, sadness is despair, happiness is euphoria. He’s known to burst into tears when things are beautiful to him, even if it’s as mundane as looking out the window. Buck is kept in the dark about his family’s unique wax hobby, and he isn’t expected to help until he’s older. His family cares deeply for him, especially his uncle, Vincent Sinclair, and they’re close to an almost startling degree. Buck has few friends but is kept fairly isolated. He seeks comfort, attention, and love from his family, which they’re always more than happy to give. In their own special ways.

Age: 5-12 years old.

Description: wide-eyed and excitable.

Further information: Buck and Butchie have a very close relationship, bordering on codependency. From the day Buck was born, Butchie was always his favorite person to be around. He’s always kept close to his big brother and it serves an ego boost to Butchie. Some would call their closeness inappropriate considering the thirty four year age gap between them but the attachment is real. Butchie does love his little brother despite often pretending not to and would never do anything to intentionally hurt him. Buck loves his older brother and sees him as role model, which Butchie doesn’t love. Buck is an excitable and curious little boy with lots of friends and a bubbly personality. Most people think he’s adorable and fun to be around, especially Butchie. Buck even has friends around Sick Mofo studios, namely Pete DiNunzio. Buck likes Pete’s company, if only for the candy Pete gives him every time he shows up on set. Butchie is oddly protective over his younger brother, not letting anyone get too close. Buck is Butchie’s “itty bitty”, as Butchie says, and he won’t let anyone else take what’s his.

i think we should talk about degendering more as a very real form of transphobia. you should not be calling a trans woman "they" when she's explained her pronouns to you. you should not be calling her a "person" instead of a woman. she's not too gnc, she's not too androgynous, you're not "confused" about her identity, you're degendering her. I fear we've gotten to a point we've forgotten the very basics of this movement is "trans women are women" and "trans men are men", and not just "trans people are someone who's pronouns you have to memorize so you don't offend them." you see her as a man in a dress and it pisses me off
