[Nietzsche] wasn't just saying I don't like this and I don't like that. Which incidentally is an expression of consumerist behaviour.[ The] very kind of behaviour that Peterson himself finds worth critiquing.

...even we seekers after knowledge today, we godless anti-metaphysicians still take our fire, too, from the flame lit by a faith that is thousands of years old, that Christian faith which was also the faith of Plato, that God is the truth, that truth is divine.—But what if this should become more and more incredible, if nothing should prove to be divine any more unless it were error, blindness, the lie—if God himself should prove to be our most enduring lie?
The Gay Science #344; How we, too, are still pious

The kind of philosophical freedom I've come to contains an ontological antitheism. Perhaps more soul-murdering than the soul-snuffing done by theology. In that grasping for technology to understand, we kill ourselves in ways beyond concept.

Andor's Anti-hero: Power & Parenthood
This is precisely the point of Luthen's pride: I trust myself to set the stage to maybe destroy the ultimate destroyer, to be the axis of evil upon which good might not only have a chance but know hope of its own. A New Hope, unburdened by the potent cruelty of these bloodied hands. To die, to be hated is part of that journey or the Rebellion would come to love the same cruelties as the Empire. Let them have that New Hope; their own victories. The ones they see by their own hand, upon my nameless foundation.
This is the truth of the most powerful and most damned agents of power, that to know is not always good and to foster good is at times built upon a deliberate and thoughtful act of evil. An agent which knows it must destroy itself. That it must get out of the way.
Luthen was then the very opposite of the Empire. Clearly seeing power, not being the parent who wished to rule effortlessly, distantly, and forever. No. He raised his child which is the Rebellion from the scattered resentment of an entire galaxy. He brought the Empire's lofty self-obsessed ambitions to ruin under its own impotent weight by knowing his and its own weaknesses. To be okay with that was the demand of a soulless Empire that throws lives away because to it, they are cheap.
The Emperor taught Luthen well, and Luthen taught the galaxy to be better.

Heroism has two core elements: projection of force as to effect a 'greater' cause, and excellence regarding that.

With age it becomes easier to dissociate. More becomes automatic, the distance between autopilot and doing consciously narrows, and when someone suffers enough they’ll retreat given nothing else to do—retreat becomes the only activity, and thereby anxiety replaces hope. All forthcoming is suffering to be mitigated, all 'living' becomes a negation.

Intersectionality's Multiplicity
Why not more?—why this drive to see 'whole' when we cannot see atoms? Inclusivity, an intersectionality possessed by any vitality would declare each view a whole, every addendum a whole new world! Each distinctive type of living as whispers of existence feeding into another's awareness. The whitest straightest man, informed and grown for knowing the experiences of a woman, a lesbian, a black man, a black woman, trans person and so on.
In this buffet of empathy, this triangulation of our situations, our perspective informed as were we a hundred lifetimes wisened! One becomes more explicitly many, and that one now grown, stronger in engagement with many. He could dismiss, he may well do so proudly, he may identify as thy antithesis, and he will be better for it if not taken already by maggots in the heart.

Love—Error is manyfold that most present part of life; as to knowing, becoming, anything called ‘progress’. To believe, to love fate is to love thy errors, as error.
