The face was extremely hard to do and as you can see, still doesnt look very good. Its a good thing I only really need to eyes because, as a ninja, my character will be wearing a full body(or near to it) typical ninja outfit.

Blog assignment 8: Politics + Design
As displayed very prominently by the kitchen debate, design is both heavily influenced by, and therefore, heavily influences politics. Here design is likened to a measuring scale by Nixon. A scale showing the success, overall prosperity and general standard of living of their respective peoples. He is effectively asking Khrushchev ‘Can you say that your people live as well as ours?’, moving the tension from their force of arms to the prosperity of their nations and using it as the measurement of their differing governments success. In my opinion the debate was won by Nixon as he placed them both in a position to discuss the benefits and successes of their respective governments without the involvement of arms or who has the bigger gun.
Today, design such as kitchen appliances is still used as a measurement for standards of living. Design has been branded by this as way to better ourselves and our lives. For example, the picture above immediately invokes a sense of wealth, good food and comfortability. All of which are inextricably linked to a high or modern, standard of living.

My poster in context. Visual communication is better than written communication. As i believe this poster demonstrates quite simply and well.

This is the second view of my The Word part for DSDN 101.
I definitely prefer the first image due to the reflection of 'Hell' which can barely be seen in this view, the night time view.

My first view of The Word for DSDN 101. I am rather happy with this image as it just looks cool, especially with the reflection of 'HELL' in the water.
