Suavity’s Mouthpiece presents the tenth anniversary reissue of their big band- infused second album The Passion of Suavity’s Mouthpiece. All proceeds from this release will be donated to Trans Lifeline.

The Passion comprises several of the group’s most popular early-period songs, punctuated by J. Trafford’s unpredictable brass and wind arrangements.

Lovingly remastered from the original tracks, The Passion is available now on compact disc in a stunning gatefold sleeve featuring updated artwork and photos. For the first time, the album is now also available on digital download and streaming formats.

J. Trafford to play Westmoreland Museum of Art

J. Trafford has been asked to perform at the Westmoreland Museum of American Art on behalf of the Keystone Pride and Equality Coalition. The performance will take place September 18.

The event will be KPEC’s inaugural Listening Session - “[hearing] the voices, stories, and challenges of those identifying as LGBTQIA+” in the Westmoreland County region.

The performance and event are free and open to the public, beginning at 6:30pm.

Suavity’s Mouthpiece releases “Nerdflesh” CDEP

The "Nerdflesh" CD single by Suavity’s Mouthpiece comprises the group’s first new studio recordings in five years. Following a surging return to the stage for their tenth anniversary in 2018, the group began playing their new song “Nerdflesh” in early 2019, subsequently releasing the studio version and diverse remixes throughout Summer 2019.

This physical release collects the original mix plus the distinctive remixes by Swampwalk and Sikes, along with SM’s cover of Swampwalk’s “Oh Pittsbergh” and an additional new original track, "Cecily Strength."
