My hcs:

- Mithrun has no internal monologue, makes it very hard for him to address his emotions

- Kabru tried to send a letter to him and Mithrun just didn't write back (he forgot) so he gave Kabru a fairy instead

- Kabru is kind of a mess too, doesn't even remember when to drink water, this is already canon.

- So yeah, they will manage and make out passionately after years of yearning
