Please enjoy this lovely plume moth (Geina sp.), doing what I can only imagine is a set up pull ups to show off its buff wingspan ;-).

hii can u id this pleasee?? saw this around and cannot fly in my room. philippines (region 3, luzon)
I cannot stress how much I am NOT QUALIFIED to id moths from the Philippines, but this looks like a type of tiger moth (Erebidae family, Artiinae subfamily), and seems to be a match for the red costate tiger moth, Aloa lactinea
See: https://www.mothsofindia.org/aloa-lactinea

It's been abnormally warm at night lately, and it's been making the bug light a little crazy!

How it started, vs. how it's going...
I have no idea what this spider was thinking but the beetle remained chill and eventually, spidey, moved on.

Looks like a tussock moth, Erebidae family, but that is as good as I can get for the Philippines!

I am still here, barely.
Here are some Roland's sallow moths (Psaphida rolandi) from one of my lights the other night. Spring is happening still, somehow, despite the world being broken.
