I've noticed that many cases of people being obnoxious and speaking out of turn or whatever in online activist spaces isn't coming from a sense of entitlement, but from poor social skills and a failure to intuit boundaries. I've personally come across many people who literally just needed someone to tell them that their behavior was inappropriate and to tell them how they should behave instead, or at least someone to point them to resources that would teach them how to behave.
