Wait shit speaking of Half-Life. Ok so I was looking at Combine Overwiki and I found this wallpaper, made out of concept art for the Combine Soldier:

And I noticed something. Some of the designs have helmets with round, orange eyes. And it reminded me of something I'd seen before...

These are the Combine Medics from Half-Life 2: Survivor, a (formerly) Japan-exclusive (former) arcade game (it has a PC port) based on Half-Life 2, but with cutscenes in the campaign and a unique Hero Shooter-adjacent class-based multiplayer mode.

Something to note about Survivor's character designs is that the Combine classes are all based on concept art and other early material for Half-Life 2. For example, the Soldier class resembles early Metrocop concept-art, while the Engineers are based on an early Combine Soldier texture.

And like. The Medic helmet and the concept-art one don't exactly match, but. You know?

They're still kinda close...
