Sometimes I think about how people say that shi mei and jgy apologists but when you look closely, they made it a point to also go after people who cared for them, their friend/ally's loved ones, or basically people who didn't even do anything bad to them or have only shown kindness or decency towards them (Xue family, chu wanning, Mo ran, lan wangji who was literally his sworn brother's brother, wei wuxian, Jin ling, etc...).
