First I want to say that I love your art and animations and I'm really looking forward to the release of "Please Stay Tuned"!

Okay so I blacked out and 3 whole drawings were sitting in my files.

ANYWAY, AU LORE TIME YIPPEEE

So, in this AU, everything happens as normal for Spamton and the Addisons. Spamton is a little Addison struggling in business, he rises to the top and disowns his family (my main four Addisons), and then the Caller disappears, leaving Spamton to spiral to the bottom and eventually disappear too.

However, when the Blue Addison, Sample, goes to the Mansion and hears the garbage noise, something... different happens.

Of course, to Sample, it's just a garbled mess.

But after Spamton disappears, he's the only one to fervently and openly look for Spamton, while Pink flat out refuses to acknowledge him publicly, Orange doesn't do anything for fear of upsetting the others (but secretly hoping he returns), and Yellow works to help Sample, but not as desperately.

Blue / Sample works around the clock to try and find him. Even staying up late to search around the city everywhere. But, he turns up nothing...

...until he stumbles through a random door in an alleyway.

There is a man there. He seems curious to see Sample. He offers to help Sample and give him the answers and the truth as to what he desires. And Sample (hesitantly) accepts the offer. Anything to help him find his brother.

He blacks out, and then wakes up at his apartment at his desk, and just assumes that he had the strangest dream, fueled by his desperation and lack of sleep lately.

That doesn't explain why there was a strange, murky, see-through crystal on his desk when he woke up, though. Nor why he can hear unclear, quiet whispers from it.

Anywho... basically the AU is that Sample makes a deal with Gaster and gains a Shadow Crystal. For better or for worse? Who knows! But I sure had fun drawing these three bad boys. Obviously the first one with the tree is my favourite! Hope you guys enjoy!

Dinner Date

This has been the personal project I've been working on for the past week and a half! I took my time, sorry lol. I put too much effort into this I'm tired

any tips on drawing the uncanny i made a cute puppet boy, but he's not SUPPOSED to be cute

how shall I make him look uncanny and worn? he once worked for an amusement park, but died due to cancer, and his father, a crazy puppet maker, brought him back to life. however, his father went missing, and the park was shut down due to health code violations, so he was left to rot. he was able to keep himself from dying again, but his face should be slighly worn down to make him look unsettling, i have no ideas on how to make him look the way I wanna make him look. any ideas? i'm asking because you're good at horror art and you're good at making uncanny, yet loveable characters

The secret to the uncanny valley is how close something is to being Human/not quite right.

Human brains are funky and when they see something that looks like a person...but not quite...it confuses them creating that uneasy feeling

For example heres a famous example

The human teeth make it Not Quite Look Right.

Its all about adding those Not Quite Right features to make it uncanny

or adding more details to a small area. I tend to add lil eye wrinkles to my characters that I want to appear spookier.

Its all about balancing it to make it look Not Quite Right

When you were talking about the funny cat short film, I seem to remember you mentioned wanting to include some mixed media alongside the 2D animation (similar to Eviction Day and the trailer for Please Stay Tuned).

Avoiding the dreaded spoiler territory, will live-action/stop-motion play a role, and are there any particular 'points of reference' you know to give a rough idea of what that MAY look like?

(If you don't want to answer that just yet, I completely understand! 👍🏻)

One of the reasons I made Eviction Day was a test in "what can I get away with?" Alot of this was hard testing compositing stop motion believably into 2D and animating with texture.

The test was a success.

Kitty is Eviction Day on Steroids and the most ambitious thing Ive ever made.

there were actually concerns from the animation department at my school that we wouldnt be able to pull it off because of how wild it was.

But, we proved them wrong.

As for what mediums are represented, it's 2d...it's 3d...it's stop motion...and a few other things

Id say...Its alot like Gumball visually...But also Madoka Magica.

Btw, i guess Ill spoil this now, there will be a trailer up on my youtube channel around summer

SPEAKING OF THE CAT MOVIE ENJOY OUR SECOND POSTER!!!

WERE JUST ABOUT DONE WITH THE ANIMATION!

We still have alot of post production to do but its coming along.

As for when it will release, it does have a year of festival run to go on before the film is public...Ill keep updated about if Pretty Kitty is coming to your town but next year it will be out publically probably.

Anyway sorry for the inactivity. The stupid cat movie has been ruining my life.

Its almost over though (its entering the post production stages) and I should be back to my regular stupidity in june.

Sady you wont get to see the film till 2025 as it goes on a world tour to ruin as many lives as possible

i have an idea a vr-headset looking thing that drills into your brain through your eyeballs, and controls your mind, but you're fully aware of everything, and no matter how long it goes, you stay alive, even as your body rots away, until you're a pile of dry bones, sitting there, silently begging for this horror to end, despite knowing full well that you're mind is in a computer that can't be terminated in any way, and that your misery will never end, and that soon you will be put into a sentient robot against it's will, and you'll be a VHS player with a body until your body rusts, and the artificial organs fail, but once the robot dies, you'll be recycled to do the same to someone else and you decide to end this hellish cycle before your robot body dies by killing the source (this is totally not the lore to Michael from PS. not at all.) (and this totally isn't a sort of spoiler) (but he was in a hospital bed when the headset was put on him after getting crushed by a giant TV)
