I saw some confusion about Ed's age cuz he said he was 12-13 in World Tour for SF6, so, with the use of the timeline of events from the Street Fighter Wiki and some paraphrasing from the repost of the post I saw this on made by user @rosewood-multifandom-writer, I wanted to shed some light on it (originally post was made by @corokoro ).

So, Ed is estimated to be around 10 when he's found by Balrog in Street Fighter 4, as was pointed out by rosewood. The timeline shows that, between 4 and 6, roughly 12-14 years pass. From reading the screenshot I saw coupled with the timeline information, it's most likely that Ed saying he's 12-13 is because he'd have no way of knowing his age while he was an experiment, so those 12-13 years post-rescue are the only ones he'd be able to keep track of.

I need someone to do a video essay-length deep dive into how 75% of the BG3 fandom fell so hard for Astarion's manipulative seductor act that they believe that's his actual personality. This man has to practice his lines and still fumbles them constantly. He flat-out says it's all a front because he believes his sex appeal is the only reason anyone would keep him around, which is tragic. When he drops the act, he becomes this kind of silly man rediscovering what it means to be himself, and what it means to both love and be loved. He says "I'm all pointy ears, love." while turning his head to show off those pointy ears. Let him be silly, let him be awkward! It's so much more authentic then him being a walking innuendo.

He has a mid charisma stat with a bonus for deception and rolled a nat 20 on all y'all.

it wasnt until after the events of the campaign that they began staying in contact (from chrys wanting to help ed with saving other shadaloo victims), but their "info swaps" more or less turn to just meeting up for "no reason." truthfully they are not good for each other and dont work out but thats the fun part :P

i just now imagine ed walking out of the store with a bag of pure black licorice jelly beans and actual black licorice, like the bag is almost filled to the brim and he's just so happy

Imagine you have a bag of assorted jellybeans you got from a candy store and you see a ton of black jelly beans. No one likes those. Well… except maybe Ed.

Ed will see you making a face after you eat a black jelly bean and he’ll walk up, like a cat after its owner opens up a can of tuna.

You give Ed the bag and afterwards, your bag is black jelly bean free and you get a guy whose inner child is crying happy tears at free jellybeans of his favorite flavor.

twitter was having a shit fit earlier when the SGF happened and the s2 cast was revealed and like

i understand part of the rage at two crossovers and bison already being back, people wanted the big faves to come back like the sf3 cast in general, cody, menat, etc

but think of the LORE, gang, the POTENTIAL

and also when it comes to growing rosters and what characters get in, you gotta get used to the odd choices and potential disappointment, this is why the smash dlcs still worked even with characters like piranha plant and min-min, so i was kinda surprised by all the anger on twitter, and it was genuinely hurting my own hype because yeah i didn't think bison should've been added this early either, but since he is here now anyways, it's time to deep analyze on what they could do with this, because they could prove JP to be the bigger bad if they play their cards right

Risking it all for a kid he found and even managing to break away from Shadaloo and take money by giving away their secrets, even though he would have had a more luxurious life if he just stayed loyal to the cause.

i mean, to be fair, it's more than inevitable. it's technically not short haired bosch, but you CAN just casually encounter the cardboard combatant in the post-game tournaments.

like, this bosch is just HERE. and funnily enough, he shows up in the same brackets you can find luke in! you can have tournaments where the cardboard combatant ends up facing luke in a round! hell, i've even seen luke LOSE. if he didn't know about short haired bosch somehow, he ABSOLUTELY knows about this bosch. there's no way he wouldn't.

with all this stuff with the two bosches and potentially one or even both being clones, and the fact that luke just so happens to be the final match in the post-game tournament in the suval'hal stadium? he HAS to know more than the game's letting on. there's something going on behind the scenes that the avatar just DOESN'T know about.

a part of me wonders if they're gonna do a sonic adventure 2 kinda thing and split the story in the future into two parts - the avatar who most likely be getting involved in what's going on with ed and finding the ruined lab, and luke doing his own thing with bosch that we just don't know about yet. it HAS to be something like that, and frankly, i'm putting all my chips on this bet, because i was already right about JP's shadaloo remnants using the neo shadaloo name to confuse experiment escapees and trick them into getting re-captured instead of being saved by the actual group who's trying to save people.

now that i've seen more info on the stuff with bosch thanks to the jpn side of the fandom on twitter, i place a new theory on the table

the guy that's apparently bosch in the final main story cutscene? short red hair and missing the purple scars completely somehow. the cardboard combatant in the post-game tournaments you can do, however, still has the long black hair he had and also obviously the scars. big differences.

bosch was experimented on by shadaloo remnants. you know what shadaloo has a history of? making clones.

either short haired bosch is the clone, or the cardboard combatant is the clone. and no one's realized it, not even themselves.
