We live in disarray!

Without a clear sense of thinking,

We always start a fray!

That's why the people of this world flee from...

...(Reader).

Seeing how I haven't seen this AU Idea touched upon yet, I'm seizing this opportunity.

...literally it's as simple as it sounds;

instead of the Crystal Gems or The Diamonds raising him, how about a pack of corrupt gems bring up the hybrid boy?

it's kind of a cliche start: the diamonds figure out his location and send out gems to arrest the infamous "Rose Quartz" once and for all. they find him as a baby [obviously] and are obviously confused as to why she was so small and made wierd squeaky sounds. Of course, this was probably some kind of trick to evade punishment and homeworld was NOT to be fooled!

not the CGs take out a good deal of the invaders, but one [I'm choosing squaridot for this, can't think of anyone else that would fit] snags the baby while the gems were distracted but in a panic, she fled into the nearby woods, where the confused, startled baby boy starts making a fuss.

his little noises attract big fluffy momster, (whom I shall dub fluffy and is a quartz by default, since she's an X reader character and her name is Reader's choice) and upon seeing the massive behemoth, she immediately drops her hostage and runs for the hills, hoping she can come up with a valid excuse for the loss.

Fluffy quartz comes upto the discarded child, and instantly feels an intense urge to protect the teeny human. something about how tiny and helpless he looked made her feel some sort of pull towards him. without a second thought, she takes him back to the cave and from there, you somewhat know the rest.

tl;dr- Steven is found and raised by a corrupt gem due to a mistake in his abduction.

I'm stopping here because if this runs on for too long, It won't be able to post.

I'll expand upon this piece once I get a full grasp on the storyline.

but, I think I can explain the replacement CGs for this piece:

☆ Fluffy Quartz {spoilers?}: she's the replacement garnet. this is literally just the reader/viewer from my OG fic. her appearance is centered around the Reader's depiction, so of course she's a generic grey to make visualization easier. and this time around her material instincts develop much more quickly and stronger.

☆ Tongue Monstress: couldn't think of a better Amethyst stand-in. I see her roping in all kinds of foodstuffs into her mouth with her tri-tongues and being more chaotic.

☆ Centipeedle: Of course she's Replacement pearl. I had to change her head design; no matter how many times I tried; drawing an eyeball in a beak is not my thing. she's very anxious and is always on the look out for the dreaded "gem-poofers" should they show up. she may have something for fluffy.

☆ And Steven!: ...well, I'll expand upon him some other time since I'm pretty sure I'm at word capacity.

...but he doesn't know that his name is Steven just yet.

HEY MY LOVELY ODDBALL READERS, GET A LOAD OF THIS!

Hey, what happens when someone who loves RPG and POV wants to make a comic?

That's right; you get an interactive comic!

Or comics, since I've come up with two.

Granted, I've been inspired by a few peeps on this site (notably this cool SU AU comic. check it out, it's cool. Oh, and here's the first page of the original take.)

But yeah. This'll also (hopefully) help me hone my comic making skills, since I yearn to make a comic of one of my wattpad stories, as well as my characters' origin stories.

But, as to not overwhelm myself; I've narrowed it down to two simple premises. One is a simple reader-insert au and the other is purely experimental/for fun.
