Thinking about when I first moved to Ohio and me and my girlfriend went out for our anniversary date. We thought it would be nice to overdress a little and it was winter, so we were wearing wool hats. We looked very 1940s and it was cute.

A lady came up to me and said: "excuse me, are you part of that society of ladies that dress fancy?"

Me: "No ma'am, we are on a date."

Lady: "the both of you? Like that?"

Me: "...it's our anniversary?"

Lady was prepared for two people in their 30s to be part of a Red Hat Society offshoot, but not lesbians.

My friends and I used to do this thing where we'd dress up on a theme and go do something totally normal.

We dressed up as pirates and went bowling.

We dressed as vikings and went to the grocery store. The security guard told us we had to move our longship because it was illegally parked.

We dressed as Romans and went to Blockbuster. The staff chanted, "toga! Toga! Toga!" at us.

We dressed up all steampunk and went to the museum. Tourists kept taking our picture.

I don’t particularly like “Let He Who Is Without Sin”, but I do like how it sets up Quark as a tagalong nuisance who’s going to ruin everybody’s vacation, only for it to actually be Worf who ends up ruining everyone‘s good time, while Quark mostly has fun and minds his own business.
