What if it was the backyardigans cosplaying the bg3 companions, recontextualizing the narrative of bg3 as another story in there imaginations just like the real show

the player/durge/tav is an imaginary friend they made up so they can have a 6th member

The backyardigan all have different interpations of tav's personality

Tasha Think tav is the muscles of the group, meanwhile Austin thinks tav is the smart one, Pablo thinks tav is the charismatic one and etc etc

so the dialogue options are just how each backyardigan thinks tav would act

Occupation: a guard dog/cat thingy

Currently status: M.I.A

ability: animal but hes kinda terrible at it

backstory: no one knows how puffballs like Galacta Knight and Meta Knight are created. The ancients allow the species to coexist and return, and most use their power to protect the galaxy. rush is really not one of them, they're more antisocial and lazy then most of his kind.

Needless to say, they are not the most popular or even likeable puffballs ever, but they did find a home in the bright and colorful halls of the magical painter that gave the sorceress Drawica and her sister's life. shelter for rush and protection for the painter

Personality: antisocial slacker, loves to use his fluffy appearance to get away with stuff they shouldn't, surprisingly has a lot of empathy, but he doesn't really use it that much. no inherent malice but not the heroic type.
