Soft!Lucio Headcanons

I’ve been jotting this shit down all day because bratty goat boy needs some niceness in his stupid life.

It’s not love at first sight, more like lust at first glance with him. But as the time wears on it turns into something else when he wakes up and doesn’t find the bed empty but rather you curls up into a soft warm ball against him in the morning wearing his shirt. He starts getting used to it, much to his own dismay. (sidenote. Does Lucio own shirts? Or does he subscribe to Julian’s school of thought that mantits must be displayed at all times??? Important questions.)

No matter how long he’s been with you, he is still startled and totally derailed when you genuinely thank him for something as mundane as passing a book.

Utterly useless at verbally communicating feelings, internal screaming intensifies, external bravado triples.

Loves getting his hair stroked. Will come and dramatically drape himself across your lap and make whining noises until you give in and play with his hair. Will eventually fall asleep letting you get on with your life, provided you don’t actually move. Will start making grumpy sleepy noises if you disturb him, will demand more head pets as recompense.

Turns into a literal child around Mercedes and Melchior. Will chase them around cooing over his pretty hounds. The most blindingly white clothes are happily ruined with muddy paw prints in the name of letting them get in his face and lick his nose.

Needy as fuck. If you’re away for more than a few hours will follow you around like a shadow once you’re back. Will insist on touching you at all times, holding your hand, resting his hand on the small of your back.

Never half-assed anything in his life and never will. Fills the entire palace with your favourite flowers. No one can get anything done or get anywhere because there are flowers on the floor, on the walls, in the crockery, EVERYWHERE.

Will not admit that you’ve broken him. Will lie through his teeth. But you know you have, because subtlety is not his forte, will occasionally get lost staring at you. Accidentally wakes you up in the middle of the night by gently brushing hair away from your face.

Hello and welcome everyone!

A few friends and I have decided that we would like to make a zine. A zine for Count Lucio specifically! The theme will be Masquerade and wedding and would like to interest Lucio stans and appreciators to join this Zine specifically surrounding Lucio (and your apprentice because obviously Lucio is marrying someone!)

The duration of this Zine will be 5-6 months, this timer starts on March 1st - August 1st. We will be taking the first month and a half as planning and signups. Our first goal will be to get to 25 people and I will message those who want the discord.

Some more information about the Zine are signups. If you want to sign up please message me and I will be making a google sheet. I would appreciate if you put the following for your application!

What you will contribute: Art or writing?

The only things I will place in the sheet specifically is your nickname, your tumblr/twitter/instagram, and what you are contributing.

Some other important things!

Zine book size: 6” x 9”

Theme: specifically Wedding masquerade, there is no prompt, just a theme

Amount of pieces artists are allowed to contribute: 1-2 art pieces

Writers limit: three pages character count is 300 words per page (limit is 3 pages) this limit may change depending on how many writers we get!

Side merch: if creators wish to contribute more they are allowed to make stickers, mugs (we might have a drawing for it!), lanyards, and key chains. Personally, we don’t have to do this, but this is for if we have the time to make these things! They might not happen! And that is okay!

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM SAYING HATEFUL THINGS IN THE IN BOX AND MESSAGES.

We will not stand for it and will immediately block.

How to start your day the Lucio™ way:

-Brush your hair, how are you supposed to start the day with a messy head of hair? You don’t. Unless you’re Vulgora and your hair is an amassed void of tangles-

-You gotta brush your teeth. How are you supposed to shout to the heavens how beautiful he is when your breath ain’t fresh?

-Wash your face. Wake up with a cold wash so you can fight off those Antis™ with a fresh face full of pity for the idiots that cross you.

-You gotta get dressed babe, you have to show off that fashion and make it extra. Throw a few things you don’t usually wear in today. Be extra. Be beautiful. Be handsome. Strut and tell the world to fuck off.

-Put on your shoes. They don’t have to be as grand as those spicy knee high boots our favorite Count always wears, but just remember to walk with the same grandeur.

-Don’t forget that confidence baby!! Grab that shit by the throat and force it on if you have to: even our Beloved™ Count™ Versace™ Gucci™ has to fake it to make it.

-and don’t forget to have a good day. He wouldn’t want it any other way.

((I was also hoping for him to come out of the freeing all shaken and sobbing, begging and pleading to be given a second chance… He deserves it. Yes, he took all the wrong turns and was horrible, but he was a person and there is good in him and he deserves a second chance…))

What the actual fuck

My heart goes out to all Lucio stans after the recent update. They did Lucio dirty in all routes, but were horrible in the reversed. The devs really fucked us over with horrible triggering material. Animal abuse? Cannibalism? In person murder? What happened to the reversed endings being “bittersweet”? This is a nightmare.

Lucio is a villain yes but with his background so little of it is purposeful villainy. He was raised in a killing spree conquering tribe where being likable was a fault. It seriously was kill or be killed there. His tribe actively did deals with demons. He wouldn’t know any better! His dad is only proud of him when he raises his sword against him. His mom calls her 9weeks of growing as her worst experience. Seriously it’s fucked up.

He ran away and sought a better life but didn’t have 18 years of loving family and good morals to be the foundation of a happier life. He knew what he wanted, but he went about it wrong because of never having the understanding of a proper upbringing. He fell deeper and deeper into deals and lost himself.

There is so much material to work with. Valerius and Volta experienced freedom and realization when broken from their bonds, so why didn’t Lucio? I was hoping that when Lucio was freed he’d be brought down and shaken to his core as a person sobbing wanting to be liked. Someone sobbing that they tried to be liked but didn’t know how. The main three could have learned more of Lucio as well and helped him.

But no the devs fuck everyone over, giving Lucio stans a slap for liking a possibly redeemable victim. They sent people into panic attacks, being so stressed they became sick to their stomach, and sent some into nonverbal mode from posts I’ve seen.
