HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Let’s say it’s 6.15pm and you’re going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You’re really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don’t know if you’ll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!! NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE… Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest. A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911. Rather than sharing another joke please contribute by broadcasting this which can save a person’s life! Be prepared and become part of the solution. Get your free next-of-kin notification card today. This is a fixed version of my Batfamily’s fav books post. Some people have voiced they disagreed with the inclusion of Jkr and I understand why.
So here we go, enjoy :)
Dick: Sherlock Holmes

Imagine this, a young Dick Grayson has found out his guardian is the greatest detective ever. He wants join him but Bruce refuses. What does he do? He goes to the best fictional detective. I couldn’t chose a specific story but I like to imagine he has a story collection or something.
Jason: Pride and Prejudice

Jason is an Austen fan girl, he loves all of her books. But in his heart, Pride & Prejudice will always be his favourite. Jason 100% relates to Elizabeth.
Tim: Diary of Wimpy Kid

Tim has the vibes that he read these books in primary school. And he 10000% rereads them even at 17.
Damian: A Good Girls Guide to Murder

Damian would be so invested not only in the mystery but Pippa as a character.
Duke: The Taking of Jake Livingston

I think this book is so unique for its genre and I think that would attract Duke to the book.
Steph: One Last Stop

Three words: Train Sex Scene. Steph would love how absolutely insane this book is.
Cassandra: Cinderella is Dead

This book is gay and action packed. Cassandra would love everything about this.
Barbara: Little Women

Babs 10000% related to Jo as a child. She read this constantly when she was young, so of course she still loves it.
Bruce: Dracula

Ik it’s on the nose but I think Bruce had a vampire hyper fixation as a child. He definitely borrowed some superhero ideas from Mr Stoker.
Kate: Fingersmith

Not only is this a very important lesbian book (has its own movie + inspired the Handmaiden) also I think would enjoy the story of a sheltered rich girl, exploring her sexuality.
Once again, I’d like to say I appreciate the criticism of my original post and I’ve deleted. I’d also like to say, I do not support Jk Rowling and her bigoted beliefs.

DP x DC
what if Danny was supposed to be Robin or part of the bat family but was nerfed by clockwork accidentally killing him and fucking up the time line.
Maybe if people come in contact with someone broken away from fate they’ll also become distanced with the original timeline so clockwork had to contain Danny in amity to avoid causing a bigger mess and not anger the fates any more than they were.
So basically what if clockwork set the ghosts after Danny? As like a distraction as he tried to stable the new event with the others and weave out previous events that would’ve taken place with the planned ones. Afterlife can be boring so he took the most rambunctious ghosts he could find and hired them to cause trouble. Like why would ghosts like ember and shulker specifically choose to go here? There infinite places to go throughout the realms like millions of different Dimensions some of which at least have a way to interact with. Each with tons of things they could use to fulfill their obsessions. So why would they choose to go to some random town in Illinois if not for clockwork bribing them with a cool ‘animal’ or tons of ‘pop fans looking for a new idol’
So what if Danny finds out about clockwork sending the ghosts and gets mad at him cause he knowingly allowed these powerful beings to torment him and maybe cause a large accident or what ever like killing some people or somthn. Maybe his family. Anywho he runs on his own cause angst and revenge, wanting to piss the time god off. A time god who was not done fixing the time line and had got some very pissed fate sisters on his tail. So maybe Danny runs into hero’s or the Batfamily and has this wierd feeling around them. Like a deja vu or a ‘I have very faint, wierd memories of you’ type thing. So they kinda click fast (or hate each other, perhaps there was some planned drama that didn’t happen) and become friends. They can kinda tell something is up with each other I.e superheroing/vigalintie-ing. So hero’s wanna help this weird kid they think is a meta hero and Danny wants to learn more about someone who could be a well known hero. But suddenly clockwork comes in or maybe a sent lackey and kidnapped Danny cause he’s now causing major timeline problems. Hero’s or Batfamily notice that the probably meta hero kid is missing and think something bad happened and get worried so they dig deeper. Meanwhile clockworks trying to deal with containing the teenage rage and angst of a kidnapped child while that fates give him pissed looks as he tries to fix the timeline again. Also p.s. the deja vu feelings are leftover memories of the future events clockwork has fixed yet if you didn’t get it

Goncharov Lore Thus Far, based on the top tumblr post results
Main cast are Goncharov himself, his wife Katya (née Michailov), and Andrey
One side character is named Mario Ambrosini. He is described as a “sad boi” and is involved in gambling.
Set in Naples and involving a drug ring/mafia. The plot seems to involve Russian organized crime attempting to get a foothold in Italy.
There is a Boat Scene. Katya survives via resourcefulness.
Andrey and Goncharov have a substantial amount of homoeroticism. Andrey also has an internet in Katya. This forms a true love triangle.
At some point, Katya threatens to shoot Goncharov. This is framed as a Girlboss Moment.
There is also a Beer Bottle Scene.
Katya fakes her death.

So you like imaginary fandoms...
With the recent success of Goncharov, I thought I'd make a post to mention some of the previous times this has happened in fandom, and a brief explanation and some links on how you can find works for them. I don't claim that this is a comprehensive list, it's just ones that came to me off the top of my head based on several decades of fandom involvement.
Ghost Soup Infidel Blue. Originates from the annual Yuletide exchange, specifically a post by liviapenn in 2007 that used it as a default fandom to help explain how to write 'dear author' letters. The relevant quote (meant to illustrate the kind of letter that would be too specific) was "'Bad: "I would like a Ghost Soup story where Luke makes out with Angela's clone and Angela gets mad and seduces Moira just to make Luke mad, and then Ryan and Luke duel to the death with their lightsabers and it ends up in an Angela/Angela's clone/Moira threesome. And Ryan feels really bad and flies off to Mars forever."" Consensus is that it is a sprawling space opera anime series, something like Gundam or Macross, with many sub-parts and spin-offs. Part of the dynamic of Ghost Soup 'fandom' is people arguing in the notes and comments about the continuity or quality of these various spinoffs (e.g. Purple is reputed to be bad, but some people will staunchly defend it just to be contrary.) Deliberate wank and badfic is part of the humour. You can read the Fanlore post about Ghost Soup here and find works for it and its related fandoms here
Winterblumensaat. Again, this comes out of Yuletide, specifically a nomination in 2021 for what was strongly suspected to be a nonexistent German book. The nominator's sister found it in a flea market! It very definitely was real! They couldn't provide any evidence or a photo of the book, but they promise it was definitely a real book! Despite being rejected from Yuletide nominations as not having any basis in reality, it has nevertheless had some fics written for it. The AO3 tag is merged into Original Work, so you can find them by searching in Original Work for Winterblumensaat (results here). It seems to be a moody, dark mid-century European novel, with characters named Florientina, Mailia, Schnail, and Markus. A related non-existent fandom with the same origin story is Nur die Sonne - Maria Moßer, but this has only attracted one work so far (a crossover with Winterblumensaat).
Cordelia (Movie Poster). In 2020 a movie poster for the movie Cordelia came out that inspired fandom in ways probably not intended by the movie's creators. While the actual movie Cordelia is a contemporary horror/thriller, the poster gave people the impression that it might be about Victorian femdom with pegging. Needless to say, they were disappointed by whatever was in the actual film, and made up fic based on what they thought the poster was about instead. Currently ALL works in the Cordelia (2020) tag on AO3 are actually about the poster and not the movie.
Invisible Ficathon. In 2014 an exchange called Invisible Ficathon ran, which was based around "stories that never were". Nominated "canons" had to be nonexistent fictional works referenced in another work. Examples given included "The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes - Joan Watson" (from Elementary), "The Itchy and Scratchy Show" (from The Simpsons), the books in Lucien's library in The Sandman that only exist in dreams, and so on. The collections on AO3 contain 71 works for nonexistent fandoms. Alas that this exchange only ran once, because it was a fun concept. I think with the renewed interest in Goncharov, it would be ripe for revival.
