Only surviving archival footage of this install I did for Outdoor Vision Fest. It’s hard to tell but the paintings eyes follow as you walk back and forth, the lady on the right laughs if you hang out too long, and the guy on the left will draw a little pic if he senses you there. Would love to improve on this very buggy project someday! Shoutout to Benjamin Geck who did all the heavy coding!!

Made a slimy tentacle TV for a music vid. Used hair gel and rubber bands to make it look gross. Very fun, highly recommend.

As Red as the Grand Canyon

I dreamt I was in the Himalayas where the rocks are as red  as the Grand Canyon. 

And the tour group and I, all white westerners in windbreakers and new balance hiking boots walked back in time.

And I wandered into a mountain shop where they sold blankets and soap, and millet in jars.

And I saw myself stretched thin and naked, cowered under a table strung out on heroin  as I passed by. 

And I saw myself, six and half feet tall and shouting, at a naked coward who was strung out on heroin hiding under a table. 

And I passed a shelf,  dusty, and packed with old alarm clocks  and egg timers, and toast racks, and asked my sister if the brass cup in the middle was the Holy Grail.

But she wasn't listening and the tag said $5 but I only had 4.

So I stuck it in my windbreaker and paid my naked self 4 bucks to cause a diversion 

So I wouldn't be caught stealing from God.
