Hi hi hi yes yes, very very curious to know how you’re so phenomenal with poses. Especially the dynamic ones?

And like, when you draw a comic or sumn, do you find poses for each panel or??? Please drop your secrets I’m legit struggling and I’m gonna choke myself-

No I find it very tedious to find references for everything when I truly just want to draw I don’t wanna look though 3d models and stuff it’s annoying! So I just learn and study anatomy to the best of my ability! Early on I watched a lot of martial arts videos and well as dancing videos or also maybe helps to look into sports as well it’s very informative to watching the body do something when it’s pushed to it’s like optimum capacity as you’re learning more extreme body poses it’s a lot easier to notice the way the body moves in everyday life as well so you can capture both ends of the spectrum! You must ☝️ watch closely to do not take those peepers for granted

Also, as a bonus, I joked that this was the most amount of clothing I had drawn Mari in to date, and dearest ThornQueen feared I was veering toward the straight and narrow. So naturally, I had to reassure her that was simply not the case, and offered as penance my best piece of art I have ever created.

The results of paying less than 100% attention to last night’s D&D session - a relatively final doodle of my zombie-fighting tiefling blood-hunter, D’Janka Mhulythrii.

She is such a genuine bitch to everyone, and I love her to bits!

So, it has been brought to my attention (I’m looking at you @madamorphis) that I do not post art often, and the only time I do, it’s a reaction to fanfiction I’m reading. And it’s not like I don’t doodle and whatnot… just that I don’t finish a lot…

… and I get stuck in my own head quite a bit, never satisfied and too afraid that what I make is not “good enough”. I know I’m not alone in that aspect.

So, I challenged myself to just share some thing s that have been stuck on my ipad for ages. Some of them are just rough concepts, some are unfinished (or barely begun) #DrawThisInYourStyle challenges from Instagram. Some are scribbley doodles that I put 20-30 minutes into every few months. They may or may not ever get finished - who knows?

None are finished and none have felt “enough” to share… hence the challenge.

I am sharing this to get out of the following cycle:

1) stare at it

2) frown at it

3) erase a line

4) add another line

5) go back to step one

Ergo, I am letting it go as is.

As usual, a small sacrifice towards @i-am-thornqueen’s efforts to convert us all into future monsterfuckers.

Okay, but dramatics aside, wow. Honest to Plagg, I haven’t even finished reading the whole dang thing yet. I literally read that one line, then IMMEDIATELY saw in my mind the round line of Adrien’s shaggy head tucked over and around his love’s while Marinette’s back had a sharp angle as she both held and was held by him. And I just… stopped reading and grabbed my ipad, scribbling furiously.

… I should probably try to start giving poor Mari some clothes… she always be nakey. XD

*sigh* Whelp, now I gotta be getting back to the reading… now that my spasmatic episode has worked it’s way out again.
