These situations are not the same. Nabu dies during story, while Daphne is "dead" from the start.
I think the Fandom is very hypocritical when it comes to daphne
I don't get how if Daphne comes back to life it's horrible, ruins her sacrifice and is just a Winx for bloom. But nabu not being revived is unfair and he should be revived. Doesn't that take the purpose of his sacrifice?
Look I'm okay if you like dead Daphne. But it makes no sense to want nabu alive when it clearly was disliked with Daphne. This biasy stems from bloom
If you don't want everything about bloom. Separate the sacrifice from bloom. It was daphnes moment.
Either everyone stays dead or everyone gets revived
And this opinion doesn't stem from the fact I don't like nabu. This was an opinion from a long time ago. I have an issue with nabu but I don't wanna get assaulted so uh

Answer: I think people exaggerate the contact thing a lot... and the answer is because of something cultural. In Southern Europe (Italy, Spain, Portugal), physical contact is very common. Physical contact does not imply feelings.

finished season 1 today, this anime is pretty cute polyamorous representation. unfortunately the girls only get subtext though. also, despite the cast only including 1 guy, I don't think I can put this in my list of anime that pass the Bechdel test.
