Hello! I also have body pain like 100% of the time. I went to physical therapy and they kicked me out but I did learn a couple things (they taught me exercises even a sick Victorian child such as myself can do.) My favorites are leg lifts, you can do this in bed where you just lay down and lift your leg straight up and down 30 or so times on each leg, if you're feeling special you can get weights. doing repeated steps on the stairs is fun. if you have small 3 lbs weights, you can pick them up and gently stretch your arms. I'm just a college student who feels ill a lot of the time and almost never leaves their desk, but I hope this gives you some ideas to try and help your body pain. (another thing you can try for joints specifically is vet wrap, which I've had success with since I was little. I like to wrap any joints causing issues like my knees, and my ankle-heel-foot situation.)

Yes!

Go to the main settings (big cog, not the two small ones), pick Scene Explorer, click on whomever you wanna pose out of the list (you can turn the visibility of the models you already loaded in on and off with the little eye icon), and look for the "skeleton" tab. It gets you a dropdown thing, showing the names of their various joints, and I have no clue how half of those work.

Most of them are considered "branches", so, like, you can't see the left finger joints, unless you open up the hand branch, through the lower arm branch, through the upper arm branch, through the collar branch- [INHALE] Which you get after clicking through the four spine branches, that stem from the pelvis (also considered the center of the model's rotation) branch.

Note that you need to have the manipulator thingy ticked, and select this spinny icon. The cross one moves stuff around (really good for moving around helmets, cigarettes, and weapons separately from the body, or just doing stretchy nonsense), and the size-changing one... I haven't touched that one, lol, it scares me.

The red, green, and blue curves are your axes of rotation. You just click and drag them (they're highlighted yellow, whenever they're selected), but it kinda requires giving it a few test wiggles to see which thing rotates where.

Also note, that after rotating something, it kinda stays in that position, so if you try to load in a different animation, it will, uh. Result in some unintentional hilarity. I know this advice is kinda doodoo, but I do sincerely hope it helped at least a little.

My good buddy and frequent tormentor, @/flandesuka, also fiddled around, and found tons of interesting stuff, like how to disable Sniper's glasses, or whatever, and you can most definitely find a lot of stuff on your own, too. You can always open the advanced settings (two small cogs), and reset everything, if things go haywire. Experiment.

dissimilar but adjacent experience, if I play too much of a videogame before bed it will infiltrate my dreams I will be tortured all night mining 1,000 Minecraft trees (and waking up periodically only to go to sleep and for the dream to reset, and a 1000 more trees of death it is for me) or at one point dreaming every night of struggling through L4D2 master mode. drives me insane 🧍

My music started playing after my alarm went off. And I went back to sleep because it’s Friday (happy Friday the 13th and Jason’s birthday) and my dreams got fuckin crazy after that, I had two separate dreams. And both of them are crazy to the point I lucid dreamed and walked away.

While working on some parent and merc art I had thoughts on whether or not to include headcanon parents for those who don't have any. And on that train of thought I realized that in the decade of me being into tf2 I don't think I've ever seen fic, art, or hc in which Medic had parents that he liked or got along with lol And I decided to be different in the most unhinged way possible and just go... "yeah he has two dads, yeah they're both weird scientists, yeah he's a test tube haunted slime baby, yeah his parents are Egon Spengler and Hebert West - the two pop culture icons he's heavily based off of" This is incredibly indulgent to nobody else but me lol - but now it's out there - and now this explains my personal hc that the medigun beam works like the proton stream in ghost busters, it locks into your soul
