I’m the kind of guy to see Wilbur soot’s merch website being very limitedly drawable and ask ‘is anyone going to try and draw a boatem and hermatrix inspired landscape on that’ and not wait for an answer.

I originally drew this as a little Scar appreciation, but I love drawing fake screenshots so much I might do some of the other cool lines. (He loves me and die for me are both on my radar.)

At first, I was going post this on Scar appreciation weekend up I have something else planned for that, so have this Scar full of headcanons which will be under the cut for those interested in the design aspects :D

Also yes, this is a corset Scar propaganda.

So I’ve been using this design for the art on this blog, but the reason I changed it from the one I used to draw is because while I like the old design, I didn’t feel like that one fits with how he portrays his character enough. Here’s some headcanons that affected the design.

• Any and all magic Scar uses originated from vex magic, he just developed his skills continuously until it doesn’t seem like vex magic anymore. His magical crystals are, in fact, made from stained glass pieces imbued with magic.

• Scar also uses vex magic for any kind of aid. He can easily breathe, walk, and fly with vex magic. However, using too much will eventually become exhausting, so he uses his wheelchair interchangeably, usually after he’s done building or working in the day for efficiency.

• When he’s using magic, his irises will have a light blue ring in them. And because he’s almost always using magic in some capacity, his eyes are like that 80% of the time.

• Whenever he’s not using his wings, they disappear completely. Furthermore, when his wings are visible but on idle, they appear much smaller, frailer, and thinner than they actually are.

• Scar’s respawn mechanics is a little broken, because unlike everyone else’s normal world respawn (ie. not hardcore, no limited lives), his respawn is imperfect. Some injuries he’s sustained in hermitcraft of any seasons stick around, some others disappear. He slams his face in the wall via flying a lot, so he has a lot of face scars.

• The little fang is because his teeth is sharp. Basically my Scar design is a vex.
