Reblogging again cause I started thinking more abt group comparisons

Again, anything can be connected if you think about it too much and see the similarities. So I raise this: The Bois and The Buttercups [& Grian's plus one]

Grian and Max already talked about and they stay consistent to one another. Only other pair-up could be Jerry and Grian since Jerry is associated with pigeons but Max I feel like fits the best. Plus, in my current brain, idk who else to compare Max with.

Now for Ross it could go a few ways. 1) Scar, as previously paralleled. HOWEVER for my Redstoner fans out there, Mumbo literally does Redstone. He is a redstoner in nature.

Pooki I was originally thinking about being compared to Taurtis bc they're both cringe [/pos] and embrace it. However, if Ross is being compared to Mumbo, Pooki and Scar are a good parallel also in the regards of cats since Pooki has his moments of being cat-like. And leaning into a more "unsettling" part you know for a fact Scar's vex-ness would adore scaring his friends like how Pooki did in the original backrooms games.

Jerry was originally difficult to think about for comparisons but I figured it out. To put it simply, with both Mumbo and Taurtis, Average looking guy that definitely probably has something nonhuman going on for sure.

So, just so lists are seen clearly, if Ross is compared to Scar;

Grian-Max

Scar-Ross

Mumbo-Jerry

Taurtis-Pooki

And if Ross is compared to Mumbo;

Grian-Max

Mumbo-Ross

Scar-Pooki

Taurtis-Jerry

Also, semi unrelated, but Max and Grian would get into a bird noise loop with G probably starting it with a simple bird noise and Max echoing it back and G, being a bird of mimicry, would call back and they'd just loop each other

my favorite mcyt duo dynamic is when person A would either protect person B with their life OR kill them with no hesitation and there’s no in between.

Grian would scream "SCAR NO" anytime Scar dies or puts himself in danger, then he’d immediately punch him into the boatem hole. Grian also practically died for him in 100 hours.

Jerry would play in Max’s ‘dude that’s my seat’ and target Pooki in round one, then the next round when he accidentally gets him killed he’d be like "Pooki... :( I got Pooki killed, noooo :(”

This dynamic applies to Jimmy Solidarity and literally anyone else, Jimmy will always be person B.

I just think they’re neat.

Well I’m not dead :/

It’s just been kinda hard to draw them for a bit so… but it was great sketching them again as my art style has slightly changed.

It’s definitely more shape based but it looks good. I really like Ross’s and Pooki’s. I don’t really like Max’s as his hair has been bothering me recently and Jerry’s could be tweaked a bit.
