some bi!reid headcanons:

morgan’s super comfortable in his sexuality and make tons of jokes about men and liking men’s bodies and reid just nods his head and goes along with it but internally he’s like “does he know?? DOES HE KNOW??” because he’s a closeted bi, figHT ME

when reid wants to tell someone abt himself, he turns to emily first bc she’s the most “i don’t give a damn who you like, just don’t like rapists or children” type of lady who does not label herself, even tho she radiates lesbian energy all day long. she’s like “yeah okay, cool, just remember you’re trying to keep a secret from a bunch of human lie detector tests so”

the next person he tells is garcia bc c’mon, she doesn’t fuck with labels either. she’s super supportive and shows him tons of queer related support groups bc she knows he doesn’t have a lot of ppl to turn to except for the team. she’s rly there for him and would make sly comments to him when he mentions a guy when it’s only them on a call, but will NOT do it when there’s other ppl around, bc she respectful! she suspects reid might have a crush on morgan when his voice wavers a bit when saying his name and when she sees him staring for a bit too long but never brings it up with him. she’s just an amazing supportive queen

the next person he tells is jj, bc lets be real, he cares most abt jj and hotch’s reactions to this. jj’s completely chill with it, of course and kinda picks up on the crush on morgan vibe but stays silent. she also educates henry on the lgbtq community at a young age bc it’s never too young to be woke

when reid tells hotch, he’s just like “okay, just keep your personal life out of work please.” and reid’s like ????? until emily points out that hotch probably thought reid was with morgan. reid gets super embarrassed and can’t make eye contact with hotch or morgan for days

morgan is one of the last people he comes out to just bc of the whole crush thing and morgan’s hurt at first that he wasn’t first but gets over it once he seems how hard for reid it must’ve been. morgan just hugs him and promises that he loves him just the same and that reid being bi doesn’t change anything

it takes awhile for reid to admit to himself that he has a crush on morgan. he doesn’t even notice it until jj mentions it one day and reid’s like “i don’t have a crush on morgan, what do you mean? are you crazy? excuse me, i would never like morgan! i bet you like morgan so your blaming it on me!” and then gets quiet all of a sudden bc fuck, he likes morgan

the team just collectively decides not to tell morgan bc it’s just a crush and reid has it under control (so he says) and then he like, does. after a few months, reid gets over morgan. it takes awhile and a little bit of therapy which was more about the bi shit, but he finally gets over him and leaves it in the past

one day, a few years later, the team’s all getting drunk and someone (i’m thinking rossi) accidentally lets it slip that reid used to like morgan and they all just silently look over at him with death stares like “what have you done?” and morgan’s just like “yeah i knew, i’m a fucking profiler and you guys aren’t slick” and that’s that. reid’s a bit embarrassed and morgan will then bring it up as a joke but never goes to far with it bc he doesn’t want to hurt reid
