#GiftedByIPSY  2020 has been a crazy year for everyone and it's not even over yet. We still have 46 days left this year. I was watching the news the other day, and there was not one good thing I have heard from all the news. There's chaos, suffering and so many heartbreaking things happening all around the world. #CatriceCosmeticsgiftedme    Happy weekend everyone! I don't know about you guys but I rarely use foundation nowadays. I figured a nice BB cream would be enough for a day to day look. That's why I am really excited when @catrice.us sent me their Clean ID Hydro BB Cream.   This BB Cream is made with 99% natural ingredients! And it's available at Ulta.com and catricecosmetics.com  What it does :  Provides lightweight coverage for a natural, radiant complexion Contains shea butter to nourish the skin and provide a healthy looking “I woke up like this” finish Cruelty free, vegan, paraben free, alcohol free, silicone free, perfume free, formulated without phthalates  Noncomedogenic I honestly love how natural it looks on my skin and how lightweight it is. This BB Cream is indeed very hydrating but I wish I pick a lighter shade. I got the Medium warm and it's a little darker for my skin but I can still work with it. I applied it using my fingertips and blended it out with my kabuki brush. It blended flawlessly around my cheeks, chin and forehead but I had a little hiccup on blending it around my nose. I have some really noticeable pores around my nose area and I could see the product not settling well around it so I had to go back and forth with using my brush and my fingertips. Other than that, I think it's a fabulous product. I can't believe we're at the last day of October already. I had a lot of fun this month, trying out different products. But one of my most used product this month is the Rosette Ray palette from @pixibeauty . 🧡 I realized I haven't shown my swatches for this palette yet so here it is. #giftedbyipsy ❤️ Another day, another bag full of goodies from @ipsy ♥  I find myself reaching for the @hudabeauty Mauve Obsessions a lot lately. It's another winner's autumn palette. I love using this when I want to create a mauve-y, romantic look. I have some of @hudabeauty mini palettes so their formula is not new to me. I think their mini palettes are very beginner and budget friendly. The shades are stunning and so easy to work with, this one in particular. I can totally see myself using this on holidays and even until Valentine's Day.  I also have here the @ciatelondon Extraordinary Translucent Powder. I usually go for a dewy finish on my makeup looks, so I honestly don't own and use a lot of translucent powder. I expected this to give me a matte look and it did. I think this powder really helped in holding my makeup for 4 hours, however, I noticed that it clinged and it accentuated my dry areas. I think next time I'll only use this on my oily spots.  The Laruce Brushes became my new besties. Their bristles are so soft and yet it applies and blends the product wonderfully on my skin. They look and feel luxurious. I love them! I also started using the @sundayriley A+ High-Dose Retinoid Serum. It is moisturizing, very lightweight too and easily absorbed on the skin. I know I have to use it more to be able to show visible results and I am very excited for it.  Last but not least is the @filorga Oxygen-Glow (eyes). This one left a white glowy cast under my eyes. However, I love that it is VERY moisturizing and it feels really nice under eyes. I am usually sensitive when it comes to eye cream but this one is very gentle so that's a huge plus for me.  I love that you can try different products through @ipsy by not spending too much. #giftedbyipsy ❤️ Hi friends and fam ☺️ As promised, here's a first impression review on some of the products that I got from @ipsy 🧡 You all know I love a good eyeshadow palette, especially nowadays where we always wear a mask. I am mostly wearing eye makeup these days and the @illuminaticosmetics Enlightened Quad Palette really impressed me. The color story is just perfect for autumn 🧡🍁 (see the #nofilter #swatches on the next slide) You could do either a smokey look or something subtle for an everyday look. I love that it has great pigmentation and the eyeshadow blends well together. The shimmers are so stunning on the lids and I love that it doesn't have any fall out. 🧡 I also have here the @smashboxcosmetics Photo Finish Oil and Shine Control. This has always been one of my favorite primer. It definitely controls the oil in my face and keeps my foundation application smooth and stay. 🧡 The @briogeo Farewell Frizz Leave In Conditioning Spray is very helpful on my thick, wavy and frizzy hair. I applied this after showering and it left my hair smooth and soft. Detangling has never been easier. I love this. 🧡 Now I have mixed feelings on the @bobbibrown Smokey Eye Mascara. The mascara applies smoothly on my lashes. It has a very smooth and thin consistency and I really love it's wand. However, my lashes have more of a natural look than the smokey, dramatic look that I was expecting. I still like it for everyday use because I can see that it does add length and a little volume to my lashes but like I said, it didn't work like I expected it to be.  The @firma_beauty Elite B103 Angled Contour Brush automatically became my new BFF. It's a perfect contour brush for my face shape. It makes my contour application quick and precise.  This has been a fun week, testing out new products.
