Movies and red carpet fashion is on everyone's mind. Is it going to be La La Land or Fences that will take the coveted Best Movie, will it be Emma Stone or Meryl Streep for the Best Actress? Will it be Chanel, Versace, Ben de Lisi creating a new fashion icon for the red carpet?  What about the after parties, not just in Los Angeles, but around the world, celebrating their city, or country as the inspiration for an award winning film. So many previous Oscar winners have helped to increase the tourism in some of the most beautiful places in the world. Beautiful movies, beautiful places, beautiful people, beautiful hotels. These are the films that are inspiring us for your next vacation.

Where made 2016 Special.

2016 has been a brilliant year for luxury travel. Many new hotels and resorts opening and being discovered or rediscovered, not only were we spoilt for choice, but in turn many of our clients were too, with our selections and recommendations. So you can imagine how tough this edition of our newsletter is to highlight our favourites, when in actual fact every hotel we recommend is a favourite. Popular destinations for 2016 were South America, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Morocco, London, Iceland to name just a few. We received some wonderful feedback and photo's from our many clients who visited these truly beautiful and awe-inspiring countries and cities. Brazil, Argentina, Peru have been in very popular in 2016,  the Olympics had some effect, but we expect this to continue for years to come. So many people are coveting a South America vacation and realising there is so much to see, do and experience.
