This might seem pretty dull of a thing to pull over for, but the CAXU code of Half Life and this one isn’t used any more!!!! This has to have been here for at least like 10 years!! Also, CAI is based in California, getting one out here isn’t exactly common 😅

One of the (less common) shipping containers in HL2 didn't have any of its info changed, meaning that the Container Applications International 40-foot standard container exists CANNON in the Half Life universe.

The funny conclusion to draw from this is that, unlike literally every other company, CAI is the only one from before the Resonance Cascade to still exist, presumably because they are buddy-buddy with Breen LOL

Sorry Timothy Page, but in the Half Life universe, you're collaborating with the aliens!

hang on wait this is an actual question - i saw the aperture heating pad post, was aperture a legit brand?!?!

Nope! The product is real though, being made by the Casco Company from Bridgeport, Connecticut sometime in the 1950s (radioactivity and all).

To create the post I took images of the real product, and just Photoshopped the packaging to make it Aperture :3 (I should have probably tagged something to indicate that though, whoops)

Just found my grandparents' 1950s Aperture heating pad from back before they became so discredited lol
