@neuroticsurgicalclinicdirector Calisto/Shih-na being the granddaughter of Alba is an interesting concept and tragic one too since I think he would just sees her as an mere puppet he can throw under the Bus if necessary, so does he at least care just a bit for her at least in your AU?

its probably more like he tolerates her as long as she behaves tbh (and shes calisto, so she doesn't) , he doesn't like her per se gifts to her are usually focused on "things that would look good in a pr photo" like the fancy butterfly hairclip she has

and the moment she becomes inconvenient to the ring he would be like "we dont know each other"

the sprites in the rerelease are apparently cut up and put on an armature thing instead of being preassembled

im not entirely sure why, maybe its bc loading a giant hi res spritesheet for every character wasnt efficient? or to make the frame transitions smoother? hmmm

not really a controversial opinion but i see ppl say "aai1-5 is the worst case because its too long" which is like... true even when i was playing the first time and enjoying 1-5 it was still painful with the very last section and being more or less stuck in 3 rooms for the entire thing however. case 3 is 1000% worse, kay and lang are carrying that cases arc so much and its still not enough
