❝ grand things? and good? ❞ she was taken aback by the sudden confession—a smile grew crossed her face quickly and a small laugh escaped. her idle hand lifts to scratch the back of her head which brought upon a bashfulness that did not quite exist with beidou. she was humble though she was also aware of the grandeur that was expressed through the tales told by not only her crew, but those who claimed to be fans of the crux fleet. their admiration was of course welcomed, though beidou thought their stories could be considered overly exaggerated and perhaps give a false idea of what beidou was truly capable of—or were they?  ❝ i hope it has nothing to do with me besting a sea beast or controlling the weather at sea—some of these tales can get a bit outrageous. ❞

i wanted to hc that beidou has the soul of the sea beast / leviathan. like the reason why her crew doesn’t fear the storms because she controls the storms and the seas that surround her ship. and it’s why she doesn’t stay on land for a long time, and why she feels more at home at the sea. but i don’t know... might make an au. I JUST like this idea.
