The fact even it happens even before trump, there was always a reason why people do bigoted or hurtful things, it's always rooted somewhere, once you look at both sides of the coin and fully fucking understanding the truth, it's blunt, the truth is blunt it doesn't think about it being good or bad. Bad things don't resolve wars,murders,etc. people like Trump break communities, we the people need to break out of it and understand what we can do and what we got. People truly don't deserve people who get broken down by other people, it's ironic really. Just a thought. I guess I'm just letting my worries and thoughts pour into this honest post.

But since this post is about religion, your religion shouldn't make you hurt people and neither should people who aren't religious, end of story.

Don't let people who do bad things make you do the same thing, let that information sink in. Moral of the story, treat people with kindness/understanding but speak up for yourself, defend yourself if you have to and others. I swear people need to think about morals, what happened to morals and maturity? Geeez

the lack of empathy americans have for one another disgusts me. because the horrible truth is that my grandparents, who voted for trump, WANT mass deportation. they WANT abortion to be illegal. they WANT high taxes for the poor. they WANT trans people to be excluded from society. and i keep asking myself how they could possibly WANT any of that, but it's because none of those things affect them, not directly. they can't put themselves in the shoes of all the people who are going to be horribly affected by trump's administration, and it disgusts me. until people in this country can feel empathy for one another, we're screwed.
