In her line of work, Althea had learned to trust her gut. Not that she believed it was anything supernatural like some of the people she’d met along the way; it was just that some part of her subconscious knew something that hasn’t floated to the surface yet. 

That was why, when the subway doors opened, she’d watch the people walking onto the train. She wasn’t looking for anything specific. She was just waiting for that gut feeling. 

Boom. There it was.

She snapped her book closed held the bar to steady herself as she made her way to sit up next to a young man who’d gotten on at the last stop.

“Mind if I sit here?” She sat without waiting for an answer. “You look like somebody who might know their way around here,” 

Yeah, she ran the risk of being mistaken for a weirdo, but that wouldn’t exactly be new. Or entirely inaccurate, probably.

Sooo, today was kind of a lost cause because I had a pretty major back issue all day, but I have some stuff on Althea’s about page, including basic info, a little bio, a couple verses (there will be more), and stuff about her living situation. Tomorrow I’m going to post an open starter and probably a starter/plotting call?
