DAY 29 - Name one thing in which you indulged as a treat to keep yourself motivated and writing that you wouldn’t otherwise have done.

hmm... i wouldn’t class it as a treat, but joining a fanfic-writing discord really helped me keep going even when i felt unmotivated, since seeing everyone else working towards their goals inspired me to do the same. that discord also introduced me to word sprints, which were particularly helpful since forcing myself to do things for a set amount of time seems to work wonders.

DAY 27 - What’s your word count now? Are you satisfied with your progress or panicked that you won’t have enough time to finish by November 30?

i’ve stagnated at 8160 for the time being, but i’m confident i can reach my 10k goal if i put my nose to the grindstone and cheat by rewriting old fics in the next couple of days! i’m pleased with my progress, though that’s more because i’ve stuck at something for 30 days, not because i did much decent writing.
