          “ i’m not yelling at pasta. you’re yelling at pasta. “ eyes lift, resting on haku for a few moments. he’s lying. he had been yelling at pasta. he didn’t have a good reason why.

    the med nin stares, at a loss for words, but he doesn’t seem too put off by kakashi’s strangeness. “ i’ve no reason to scream at food, but... i’ve never known you to be a liar. ” and so, haku takes the bowl gently between dainty fingers and gazes down into it, one brow raised as he scolds the contents. 

                 “ please do not trouble hatake-san. he is a valued jonin of the hidden            leaf village, and it would do no good for you to upset him. or give him indigestion. ”

“Oh-- Lee...” Haku huffs, unable to stop the smile from blossoming onto his lips. “I don’t think I’ve ever heard such a funny story before!”

“ The knowledge is comforting, I’ll admit. ” He breathes, dainty fingers curling around the airy shirt he wore. Usually, he was hardly ever seen out of his obi, or hospital garb, but not thirty minutes in this climate had him rethinking his wardrobe.  “ I might... for a moment. I seem to have lost my steam. ” 

Haku mumbles,  swaying lightly, looking rather pale. Not a drop of water anywhere. No ice. This was hell, or at least, something close. 

      THIS WAS A COMMON THING, common among outsiders.  “ Do you want to sit down? Most of the buildings have AC     if that helps.”

    “However does one stand such heat... I feel as though I am about to wilt away.”

  “  Hnn, Zabuza-sama. What would you like me to prepare for dinner this evening? ”                   Perhaps he’s pouting, perhaps NOT. Only one way to find out.

                          ———– he seems almost like a CHILD with the way he’s sort of pouting.

"Haku-senpaaaaaai ~ !"

       “Sakura-Chan~~!”

He smiles now, full on grinning. The look on her face is priceless and worth any amount of scolding she might throw his way After chewing--- as he wasn’t without some manners---- he folds his hands on the table and fixes Ino with a rather self-satisfied stare. 

     “A bit, yes. But only because you seem to react so negatively to it.       Almost like Akimichi-san when I ask for a chip.”

An almost lifeless stare. Every single grain of cereal  in the bowl belonged to her. She stopped eating immediately,          just watching him; repressing her lividness. 

“Right. So, you, uh, you think it’s  funny to take my food, then?”

I’ve been watching Naruto recently so
