So what is this?

The Marvel Written-Cinematic Universe (or MWCU for short), is an interpretation of the MCU that explores what would have happened if everyone was a little smarter and things didn't go wrong.

It's a fix it fic. It's a really complicated fix it fic that's actually an AU.

What's changed?

A lot. Like a lot a lot. I'll try to post a comprehensive timeline at some point, but it's very complicated.

What I can say, though, is we have incredible plot lines such as:

Canonical Stucky marriage

Steve passes on the mantle of Cap to Sam

He then becomes a vigilante not even a full year later

F.R.I.D.A.Y. gets put into the Vision body instead of Jarvis, and Vision becomes a butch lesbian

Bucky adopts alpine

Thanos does not show up until way later, and is killed by Sentry

The avengers still exist and are still active, but members have changed

The Thunderbolts are villains (technically), but Bucky, Yelena, and Bob aren't members

Yelena and Nat sister bonding because they deserve it
