Sunny Flare: Besides, why wouldn't you want to rule the world, dearie? If I were given the opportunity, I would be the happiest girl alive.

Sunny Flare: I would host parades with people dressed is fabulous outfits and provide a world full of entertainment. The world is your stage after all.

Sugarcoat: Yeah...I think you're taking that phrase too literally.

Lemon Zest: Right? Sunny would be the easiest queen to dethrone. All you gotta do is throw mud at her and she'll quit.

Sour Sweet: Oh yeah? Then what makes you think I'm a good dictator?

Sugarcoat: Because that's really what you're doing most of the time as our leader-

Sour Sweet: Shut it, Sugar. Ruling the world didn't go well for Sunset and all the other villains that exist with this goal so I'm not doing it. Period.

Lemon Zest: Dude, that was just a simple question. Is it so hard to answer it like a normal person?

Sunny Flare: Sour Sweet switching between two faces is nothing out of the ordinary. I thought you of all people should have already known that by now.

Lemon Zest: Yeah, well...

Indigo Zap: Say, why is Sugarcoat so quiet? This question was kinda for her too ain't it?

Sugarcoat: Why should we answer the question twice when we're going to give the same answer anyway? I have no objections with Sour Sweet claiming to be our leader.

Sugarcoat: Why? Because I can't see myself leading the group. I'm not very good with people. Unless you like someone who constantly points out your faults as your leader then I'm definitely not qualified.

Sugarcoat: Besides, I think Sour Sweet has been doing a decent job since highschool. If it weren't for her, we wouldn't have worked together to help rescue those students from falling into rifts during Midnight Sparkle's rampage at the Friendship Games. If I were leading back then, I think I would have just not give a damn.

Indigo/Lemon/Sunny: ...

Lemon: I...think I lost you at answering the question twice.

Sunny Flare: You almost always never catch up, Lemon. With you and your...noise coming from those headphones.

Lemon: N-noise?! Did you just call my precious metal music NOISE? That's so uncool!

(Looks around) Is this fandom still alive? Whatever the answer may be, I've decided to update this blog again! Because I missed drawing these girls and I definitely miss sharing the fun with you guys, hehe. However, I've been quite busy with college stuff myself so I won't guarantee a frequent update. This blog will be active but I'll update it at a slower pace unlike 16 year old me who updates the blog almost everyday.

Well, I don't have much to say for now. It's really been quite some time since I logged into this site. For now, have this announcement and this drawing of Lemon and Indigo as I cook up a story to be posted soon (hold your horses cuz it'll be a surprise). Until then fellow Shadowblog! See ya!

Farewell everyone!!!

Hoo-boy.... This isn't going to be easy for me. The title said it all and I've been thinking long and hard about this for months. Life just sorta happened and things got busy for me. When I got some free time, I finally took the opportunity to really think and be honest with myself. And after trying hard to wreck my brain to come up with an update for this blog (which I failed to), I have concluded that I have lost the spark to continue on with the updates. I just can't seem to find any motivations for it anymore. I guess I just grew out of the MLP fandom and to be honest, I started to feel this way about this fandom ever since the show ended.

Again, like I said, making this decision to stop updating this blog wasn't easy for me. For as long as I can remember, this blog was like a happy place for me when I was stressed out. I really enjoy drawing the Shadowbolts and making myself and everyone else laugh by giving them colourful personalities. I really like to spread joy to those who had a rough day and for those who simply enjoyed my contents. Back then, I can upload a short comic everyday but as of now, I really can't seem to update it anymore. And I don't want to give anyone false hope by making them think that there will be an update just by disappearing like that.

Through this blog, I have made a lot of new friends and met a lot of great people who shared a common interest with me. I'm really grateful for you guys who enjoyed and understood my work. If it weren't for you people, I don't think I would have committed myself to work on this Tumblr for 5 years. You guys are awesome. I'm really sorry for suddenly dropping the bomb on you guys like this. I really am. Right now, my heart is just not in MLP anymore. You see, I've gotten myself attached to other fandoms as well as my own original contents.

Aaah...I don't want to turn this into a super long essay, so I'll just bring this post to a close. To summarize once again, I fell out of love with MLP and I will not update this blog anymore. Though, I'll still keep this page open for those who wants to look through it. The ask box will be closed and the discord server will be deleted (since I'm not active there). Yo, I'm not dead. Here's an update I've been working on for a while. I'm almost done with my part-time job contract and I'll be leaving the bookstore at the end of this month. So I guess it's safe to say that this blog is back in business! Well.... until I start college. *sigh* I've been delaying my college application for almost a year thanks to covid (my parents wouldn't let me start until the cases in my country gets lower cuz it's been around 800+ cases per day here and they think online classes is a bad idea uwahhhh) . I'm honestly feeling very down at the moment. But getting my hands back onto this blog kinda lightens up my mood a bit and I hope it cheers you guys up too at this trying time. Stay safe everybody! Shadowblog 53- Reenactment

Hi guys. Sorry for disappearing for a long time without notice. I've kinda been in and out of working on this update as I'm working on a personal project I had started a few months back. So now that I'm posting(very slowly) again, I present to you the shadowbolts reenacting a painting! Yes. This is inspired by the the Renaissance painting challenge I've seen people done since the pandemic where they reenact a painting painted by a Renaissance artist. The one the shadowbolts are reenacting is called The Entombment of Christ by Caravaggio. I see the bolts are doing greatly(and terribly) at the reenactment hahaha...

I hope you guys enjoy this update (even though it's a simple one) . I'll see you guys on the next update, whenever it is.

Hi everyone! As the title says, I've decided to stop updating my blog. I'll be starting college soon so I doubt I'll have time to update. It's been fun running it for the past 2 years but I believe it's time to say goodbye. Thank you all for supporting me throughout my journey and stay awesome!
