Best Stones for Protection from Negative Energy
One of nature’s many gifts is crystals and stones that contain metaphysical/healing properties that instantly bring positive energy and healing to your life. From ancient times to the present day, mother nature's stones and crystals have been used for their beneficial properties. The healing properties can aid in a variety of ailments from anxiety and other psychosomatic disorders to chronic conditions.
If you are an empath, introvert, or highly sensitive person you might be drawn to the healing properties of crystals as they can be a useful aid in protecting against the negative energies of narcissists, manipulators, energy vampires or to those willing or even unknowingly casting an evil eye. As a highly sensitive/ highly intuitive person, you feel these energies all around you and are constantly being stimulated by others. Sometimes it is useful to use crystals, sage, and other tools to cleanse you after being bathed in the energy of others - whether you do energy lightwork, or are just immersed in chaotic energies in your day to day.
Here is a list of the top protection stones for highly sensitive people (Empaths):
1. Clear Quartz
Clear Quartz is a very powerful stone. It is considered the master of all healing crystals as it cleanses other crystals and amplifies their properties. You can also program Clear Quartz for specific tasks to aid you in your healing with positive intentions. It is usually associated with the Crown & Third Eye Chakra. This means Clear Quartz can connect you to higher dimensions but also assist in your understanding or give you clarity on situations and other people’s intentions. Clear Quartz is a powerful and pure energy source that has the ability to transmit and receive energy as well as dispel outside negativity energy. The emotional healing properties of this stone dispels feelings of negativity while encouraging positive feelings and thoughts. It has quite a positive effect on all of the chakras and expands the human energy field as it protects the aura.
2. Black Tourmaline
A black opaque stone that is highly prized for its protective properties. It has been used for ages for its ability to transmute and “cleanse” energy. It protects us from negative energy, entities, or destructive forces. If you do any psychic work or energy work it is recommended to keep a piece of Black Tourmaline with you as it can transmute negative energy and forces. Another type of energy it protects against is the harmful EMFs emitted by electronics. This stone is awesome at shielding us from electromagnetic radiation from cellphones, TVs, and computers by emitting a small electric current. It protects on multiple levels: spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, etc. It is highly useful in purifying and neutralizing one’s own negative thoughts and internal conflicts, and turning them into positive, usable energy -- if you have a stressful work environment or home life it is beneficial to keep Black Tourmaline on your person or in your area.
3. Citrine or Gold Topaz
A yellow/orange/gold appearing stone known as the “success” or “manifestation” stone. It is usually associated with the solar plexus and naval chakra and aids in mental alchemy and having a more positive, optimistic perspective. Think of it as the healing energy of the Sun’s rays trapped in a stone, bathing you in warm, loving light. The reason why this stone is protective is because like attracts like. It will attract more positive people and scenarios into your life and repel the negative forces at work around you. It is the stone of self-improvement and will bring much luck and positivity to the wearer. If you want a boost of energy and dose of optimism this is the stone for you. You will feel so aligned you won’t even have time to focus on haters with the evil eye.
4. Amethyst
A violet stone that is also highly prized for its many uses. It carries a high frequency that protects the energy field, clears the aura and chakras, and purifies the individual, removing any negative energy and allowing them to move forward in life, into higher states of consciousness. it is known for increasing one’s intuition, which in turn can shield you away from darker forces and enhance your judgment. It protects your energy field so it is recommended for those who do healing work, are in the medical field, or work with mentally ill/sick individuals. It naturally brings a sense of peace and tranquility and is known for reducing stress and anxiety.
Let me know which stones you will be adding to your collection. You can use these stones to your benefit by incorporating them in your jewelry or simply carrying them on your person. It is also useful to keep them in sacred spaces within your home, or areas you frequent - like near your bed, nightstand, or desk. Crystals have natural metaphysical healing properties and emit a higher vibrational frequency, but also having them present would aid in a physical reminder to your intentions.
Love and Light,

Intro to the 7 Chakras
The Chakra system originated in India between 1500 and 500 BC in the oldest text called the Vedas, according to this ancient Hindu scripture the human body has 7 energy points that start at the base of your spine and expand to the top of your head. You have more than your physical body, the chakra system can be thought of as your “energy body.” When one of these chakra points are out of balance, it can cause disease within the body, and the symptoms can be mental, physical, emotional or spiritual. These 7 chakras that originated from eastern medicine happen to align with modern medicine and are known as our Endocrine System. Yes, our chakras have much to do with the human body’s glands. A variety of health problems may be caused by Chakra Imbalances affecting the associated Endocrine Gland and resulting in illness. Whether a chakra is overactive or underactive it can cause problems within the body. When you balance your chakras you will have control of your mental and spiritual health as well as your physical health.
So what are each of the 7 chakras? They each serve a specific purpose and are interconnected. If one is imbalanced, you will not achieve true alignment and optimal wellness. The lower level chakras are more “physical” chakras that deal with you as an individual - the upper chakras are “spiritual” chakras that focus on higher dimensional frequencies. How to Find your Purpose
1. Take time to ponder the questions “What really matters in life; what do I want to have achieved when I look back over my life?”
2. Make time for solitude and silence. Filling every minute makes it hard to listen to our intuition, or that inner guiding voice.
3. Seek out people who inspire you – and then learn from them. There are many people who live inspiring lives. We can learn from their experience, and what they have to share.
4. Consciously monitor your progress. It is easy to slip back into unproductive habits. Hence, we need to be committed to sticking to our plan.
5. Accept that struggles and setbacks will be part of your experience. There will be times when you are tempted to give up and stop trying … but choosing to keep going will lead you to your dreams.
