Having a really long-term hyperfixation that has since faded is terrifying yes but it's also so embarrassing. Hi I used to think about Scrimblo Splungus 25/7. Yeah, for 2 years straight. Nah, I don't think about them anymore except for with a vague sense of melancholy as I recall how they used to make me feel. Anyways this new one, Blimpkins McGee? I'm gonna think about them forever and the cycle will NOT repeat in 2 years. Trust me guys.

OKAY SO

Hades: c!Wilbur

A former dreamer who's lost his way. A man who builds walls to protect someone he loves (in his case, a close friend/little brother type figure), but pushes them away in the process. I don't need to elaborate. But also the way Hades talks to Persephone at the end of Chant reminds me of how Wilbur spoke to Tommy in pogtopia. Same goes for How Long?

Persephone: Tommy

Someone who pushes away feelings by focusing on the fun side of life. Someone who stands by the side of someone they loved, and who they yearn to get back to the way they were. Someone with a big heart, but biting words to defend themselves.

Eurydice: Tubbo

Okay several reasons. First:

Someone who is wise to how the world is, no stranger to the wind. Someone who has learned not to trust anyone, but lets someone in- only to be let down. And yet, once they are separated by forces beyond their control, they miss the other.

Second: this allows Tommy and Tubbo to still have a special connection. Seeing the show live made me really appreciate how staging and acting work together to establish both how alike Eurydice and Persephone are and how much Persephone cares to protect Eurydice, and that's peak clingy duo to me.

Orpheus: Ranboo

A dreamer, who focuses more on the way the world could be than the way it is now. An idealist who cares deeply, but can be naive when it comes to reality and people in power. Someone who gets caught up in self-doubt, especially when it's after being confronted with the harsh realities of the world.

Hermes: Technobladd

OKAY WELL CONSIDER IT'D BE REALLY FUN.

Actual motivation: peer pressure duo is goated, and Techno as both an actor and a fourth wall breaking narrator who sees men rise and fall but continues despite it all is actually perfect for him. And more importantly it'd be so fun

cranboo at the grocery store like "what was i supposed to get? eggs, right. eggs. eggs you're supposed to get eggs. you wrote it down in your book-" and he pulls out the book and it just says 'tubbo wants eggs. do not mess up.' and he puts the eggs in his basket and then goes "shoot. we needed more than just eggs. but you were so focused on- on the eggs that you forgot to write it all down." and then he starts pacing the aisles like "what if i got milk? no. no. no we don't need that. tubbo probably got milk. he always buys the milk. the last time you bought the milk you forgot to take it out of the bags and it went bad and tubbo was mad at you. i can't hurt him again." so he just buys the eggs and gets home and tubbos like "hey sexy did you get the eggs and juice?" and ranboo starts enderwalking out of stress.
