What if the Knight IS Dess but like.

In the same way Flowey is Asriel.

Knight seems to look very similar to Titans, creatures brought to world with power of pure determination.

Plus, we did learn that Dark worlds can revive dead for something.

Maybe whatever created the titans is strong enough to make what's left of Dess to something more than just a darkner.

I think Kris and Noelle in weird route can be something like this

I just was playing an unrelated to UT/DT RPG game, and long story short, childhood friends going on adventure end up marrying, and there was a scene with a ring, that's when I got hit.

So. In Deltarune weird route we have:

Childhood friends, the "I will ride with you", "more than friends".

And in ch4 Kris literally gives her A RING. THE THORN RING.

Kris and Noelle are literally the childhood friends trope flipped in the worst imaginable way possible.
