It's Been A Year (Part 2)

Continuing my Galaxy Con experience from my last post, here are some more photos, courtesy of the Galaxy Con website.

After they answered my question, I added one more thing, because I wanted to praise David's portrayal of Scrooge. And I said that I loved his alliteration. ❤

They were sitting pretty far back on stage, and David couldn't hear me that well. The host repeated what I said, and David responded with, "Alliterations. Yes, yes."

Then, he looked at Catherine and said to her, "I don't write it." And she laughed. LOL. XD

The Autograph Session and Photo Ops

The next day, July 27th, was when I actually met David Tennant. I bought a few autographs, and he signed my DuckTales: Destination Adventure DVD and my DuckTales book (Solving Mysteries and Rewriting History). And yes, he remembered me from the Q and A panel. Haha. XD

Later, I went to the Photo Ops area, to get my picture taken with David Tennant. And I didn't know how Photo Ops worked. So I only bought one.

Apparently, they go by super fast, and you only have a few seconds with the celebrity. But I had a very funny exchange with David Tennant during that time. 😂

I said, "Ooh. Can you do a Scrooge pose?". And David said, "A Scrooge pose? I don't know what that is... What is a Scrooge pose?"

I said, "Well, usually, he has his cane with him." And he said, "Yeah, I don't have a cane." So, when they took our picture, David made this hilarious face. XD

And oh my gosh. It's very Scrooge-like!! 😂

Hahahaha. XD

As for my autographs, I'll be putting photos of my autographs in my next post, because I'll have a lot to talk about. I actually got to chat with David Tennant while he was signing my stuff. And that was great. So, please look forward to my next post. 😄

It's Been A Year (Part 1)

It's been a year since I attended Galaxy Con in Raleigh. That was one of my favorite experiences at a convention. And I'm so glad that I got to meet David Tennant, the voice of Scrooge McDuck. 😍

The Q and A Panel (that's me in my DuckTales shirt)

Before the panel started, the host told us they had rules regarding which questions we could ask them. So, unfortunately, I couldn't ask for requests. And basically, I ended up asking a question about the season 3 poster of DuckTales, which at the time, had just been revealed at SDCC 2019.

I meant my question to be: With all the characters that are shown on the poster, will Scrooge still have a large role in DuckTales season 3?

But I worded my question kinda terribly, and they misinterpreted it in the funniest way. XD

David Tennant's reaction: "I'm not on the poster?!!"

Also, when David got done answering my question, Catherine Tate (Magica) told me that I was "overly concerned".

Which was true. Hahahaha. XD

And apparently, Tumblr has a limit for posting photos. So, I will continue my Galaxy Con experience in my next post. 😄
