“big boy? that’s a new one.” it left kyo feeling warm and melty inside, which he thought was appropriate for this long-awaited reunion. his nose pressed itself into lilac locks, and he breathed a soft laugh of relief. sometimes he worried he’d never see leon again. abandonment issues were so CLICHE, but it was something he feared more than being at the end of any blade.

“where’s my kiss, baby? it’s been so long—” he was purring now, grin resurfacing with renewed vigor. “i think ya owe me one, right?”

“I’M TRYING TO BE MORE CREATIVE, ” Leon claimed without missing a beat. He gave a silent hum as he felt Kyo’s touch in hair and slowly spread practically everywhere. He wasn’t just ready to let go, no not yet ---- let them stay like this a little longer, and let the other choose when it’s time to let go. He owed Kyo this much, and it wasn’t like he minded. Not one bit.

“My, aren’t you an eager one?” the archer teased with a quirked brow., but that was all before he gave him an inviting look and pressed soft lips on the apple‘s of the other’s cheek.

“Happy? Or shall I give another one for good measure?”

Judging by the blush coloring Alm’s cheeks, it was more to deflect his own flustered state than it was to be harsh against the archer. He eventually heaves a sigh.

❝ Celica trusts you, so I can’t fault that… how you got her to do that, I can’t even guess. ❞

SMALL LAUGHS erupted from his mouth --- just barely hiding under his breath as he shook his head. The archer began to fiddle around his arrows, practically pricking his fingers at the tip to see which ones were still serviceable for another battle.

“You have Valbar’s charms to thank for that, and where he goes , I will follow. So unfortunately, your poor Celica has little choice in the matter of trusting me or not.”

“i missed ya… i’ll probably say it a hundred times in the next few days, so get used to it.”

HE TRIED TO PREPARE HIMSELF ------- arms stretched out, readying himself for Kyo to throw himself at him ( and he did so quite literally ). Leon tumbled back slightly and gave a grunt, but even so he still smiled through, resting his head on the nook of the other’s neck.

He breathed a sigh.

“I missed you too, big boy....Wouldn’t mind being greeted like this for the next few days too...”
