Designated Notes Relaunch References
This is probably going to get a bit meta. In a week, I am starting a class where we learn Social Media Management. Whatta yuh know?! I have a social media account on learning! Given that this account is my baby in the making, my pride and joy, off course I am using it as a focus product for this class. While I take the class, I will be posting content, some of it for the class, and some as notes from other classes or things I've learned along the way. Please understand that this means I will be heavily utilizing quotes and concepts presented from copyrighted material for this reason. I will do my best to cite this material as I go, and I highly recommend buying your own copy of these materials as you find something you like from what I use from them. Because there will be frequent reference to them, I am dedicating this post as an educational reference to my materials.
For my marketing textbook, we are using:
Barker, Melissa S., et al. Social Media Marketing: a Strategic Approach. Cengage Learning, 2017.
Perry, Marvin, and George W. Bock. Sources of the Western Tradition. Wadsworth Cengage Learning, 2012.
This is not an official promotion of these items. I look forwaard to learning from them and being inspired by their content. The reason I decided to write this post is the fact that I was reading my Social Media Marketing textbook ahead of time and realized on the second page of the first chapter, I was already looking to create a PowerPoint presentation I couldn't WAIT to share with the world! That's right: ever the geek, I am.
I'm really excited to grow this blog into someone really fun and worth sharing. I look forward to sharing the new content with you and I hope we can share in this adventure together. Please feel free to like and subscribe. Message me anytime. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great day! -Sarah

Welcome!
Hi! Welcome! Thanks for stopping by! I'm Sarah. I'm a pretty distractable person. There's one of those long drawn out sob stories behind that fact, but we'll skip that for now. Here at Designated Notes, I look forward to taking advantage of that distractability and share all the information I learn while jumping between subjects. I love studying foreign languages, science, math, photography, design and compostion and I looooove to cook! So a lot of that will be posted here along with whatever else I stumble upon! I hope you enjoy learning some random things with me. See you around!
