I would enjoy this show so much more if there wasn’t so much hatred and deliberate ignorance in the online discourse
I still don’t understand how Bonrad fans can dissect and show sympathy for all of Conrad’s trauma but nope Jeremiah is just a manchild end of story no further analysis needed
I can’t wait for this show to end so I can stop being exposed to so much hypocrisy and blatantly biased & ignorant discourse

psa #bonrad shippers
did you know that it’s possible to ship belly and Conrad without hating on Jeremiah? It’s actually possible to see that belly was always going to end up with Conrad bc this show is following a very predictable formula, but that doesn’t mean Jeremiah is bad/evil/manipulative!
I know this isn’t the most high brow show but I am begging people to apply a single ounce of critical thinking before blindly tearing Jeremiah apart bc the hypocrisy is killing me
And for heavens sake stop blaming the actors for the actions of their characters
y’all are destroying your own credibility

I am simply not capable of finding these scenes between Laurel and Conrad heartwarming because I am infuriated that we have never seen her provide Jeremiah anywhere close to the level of support that she has provided Conrad since their mum died

Someone please explain to me what line changed anything about what we knew happened in Cabo?? There was no gotcha moment here
Jeremiah’s friends were being 22 year old men celebrating his sexual experiences. No, I do not condone that borderline toxic masculinity. But there was nothing in that scene that implied anything different to what we already knew about this experience, where Jeremiah was drunk and high and heartbroken and immediately regretful of his actions.
To say otherwise is once again making things up that are not actually in the source material.

“I feel like we moved on too fast from-“ yeah we did bc they keep shooting absolutely insane things at us. List of things we moved on too fast from bc the damn things to move on from just keep coming:
- the will
- you two have an adorable son
- buck taking care of Chris during the shooting when Eddie literally had a girlfriend
- Eddie quite literally panicking at the idea of said girlfriend being his wife
- Buck’s bf canonically saying buck might love Eddie
- Bucks SISTER canonically saying buck might love Eddie
- buck and Eddie not being able to look away from each other in 818
- I’m not your last
- The will
- that breakup being heavily implied to have been about Eddie
- just the well and lightning strike. In general
- the poker date??
- “I feel like she sees me” “😒😠”
- can’t you both be good cops?? Noooo
- Buck hooking up with his ex in Eddie’s house bc he missed Eddie and saying out loud he was doing it as a distraction from missing Eddie
- the whole break from the internet and the “you better back me up here babe” look
- no offense I’m straight, and he’s straight, hopelessly pining for my straight best friend
- catholic guilt and “we married for the church”
- Chris running to bucks place when he’s upset
- the WILL
- married kitchen fight
- “it’s me. I’m your renter”
Anyway these are just off the top of my head. Please add more as they come to you because they are so insane for each other. We have to move on fast bc there’s no other option

Maddie coming into Buck's room where he's getting ready as the groom for his wedding and staring as he finishes putting the final touches. When Buck finally notices her presence, he asks a confused yet happy little "what?" cocking his head.
Maddie just smiles. "It wasn't so crazy, was it?"
Buck blushes and smiles wider too. "No, it wasn't".

what?? We have seen so many instances of Jeremiah apologising and taking responsibility for his actions?? To say otherwise is just blatantly untrue
To say Jeremiah has not worked on himself or his shortcomings, what exactly was he supposed to work on? Jeremiah’s only ‘mistakes’ are the ‘cheating’ (argued above, and after which he repeatedly apologised and respected her space but still was at the hospital all night in case he needed her) and the fact that he is putting in less for the wedding planning (because he is working to earn them money, Belly is unemployed so that is just an equitable division of labour in the relationship) and that he is ‘not compromising’ about the wedding (which is a failure of Belly communicating what she actually wants…as we saw in regards to the apartment in the latest episode, when Belly actually expresses her opinion, he listens to it)
Conrad had a lot to forgive because he treated Belly poorly, repeatedly, both before, during and after they were repeatedly dating. Genuinely don’t understand what exactly you’re waiting on Jeremiah to ‘work on’ here when he has treated Belly well and made her happy for four years??
Answer me this #Bonrad fans, why does Conrad get to be excused for treating Belly like dirt in seasons 1-2 but you won’t consider that Jeremiah has also been dealing with the loss of his mother?
Conrad literally dumped Belly at her prom - but you forgive him bc he was grieving. Belly and Jeremiah’s fight and breakup before Cabo happened bc he was dealing with emotions after the anniversary of Susannah's death. But of course Jeremiah doesn’t get the same excuse as Conrad, right?
Before you call him a manchild again maybe remember that he spent most of his senior year almost single-handedly looking after his dying mother? I don’t hold it against Conrad for going to college, but ffs look at the whole picture before you go tearing down Jeremiah and conveniently forgetting all the shit Conrad has done - Conrad who had more time to emotionally prepare for his mother’s death, and who didn’t constantly have his father calling him a loser and a failure.

Conrad fans be hating on Jere for “cheating” while wanting Belly to cheat on her fiancé with his brother
God this show is so stupid
I truly cannot wait for it to be over
Which it will be so soon and poor Jeremiah is going to get so fucked over
It’s obvious she’s gonna end up with Conrad but it’s going to feel so rushed and forced at this stage, there are not enough episodes left to justify Belly dumping her fiancé and partner of four years for his brother

Honestly it’s so fucked of Laurel to be so clearly playing favourites. They are both the sons of dead best friend, they both deserve your love and support?!
Follow that with the suit fitting and I remember why I first felt the need to defend Jeremiah
Because ALL of the adults in his life who are supposed to love and care for him treat him like a second class citizen and it’s so fucked up

Conrad is really toeing the line between sweet and creepy/overbearing in the way he cares about Belly and is involved in her life
I just know if the roles were reversed people would be COMING for Jeremiah
It’s too much
She’s been happily dating your brother for 4 years
Move the fuck on mate

Really feel like Conrad should have told Jeremiah that Kayleigh is who their dad cheated with
Bit fucked that she’s planning their wedding and he doesn’t know
Like, if my sibling kept that from me, especially in this context, I’d be furious

Hey look, Belly actually expressed her opinion and Jeremiah agreed to what she wanted [about the apartment]! Almost like I was correct every time I said that Jeremiah is not being selfish or refusing to compromise, but actually the problem with their wedding planning is that Belly is not communicating properly!

Sorry but as someone who went apartment hunting probably in their budget recently
Nowhere in their price range will have furniture that nice
They were never going to get that first apartment
The cost of living crisis is real babes and honestly no one is giving a decent apartment to a girl who is unemployed and her boyfriend who is only employed for the summer

The thing I find fascinating about the TSITP love triangle fandom is that it's not about a triangle. It's about "which brother is best". And I don't mean for Belly (god I hate that it's spelled that way. Why couldn't it have been Bellie or something cute like that?). Belly doesn't really enter the equation. Oh, she's there as a variable. But that variable cancels itself out when compared to the other side.
I come from The Great Riverdale Shipwars. I've seen carnage when it comes to Varchie vs Barchie, Choni vs Kangs, Bughead vs... everybody. I thought I was safe with my ship (Jeronica - not "Vughead") until they became canon and holy hell. You think you're prepared... But, I digress. This "shipwar" between Bellyjere/Jelly and Bonrad/Celly (I don't know Conrad's ship name) doesn't exist. Like I said above, Belly doesn't exist in it. It's become Jeremiah supporters vs Conrad supporters. And that's okay, just call it what it is!
For example lets look at this most recent episode: Jeremiah is stuck at work. He actually does something really good for his dad's company. But he's a villain because "don't you know he promised to go to Michael's with Belly for a 20% off sale?? (That's how you know the writers aren't crafters. Only 20%? That's child's play.) If it was Conrad being stuck at work it would be all "But people need him!" and "It's just Michael's. There'll be another sale."
And the narration is all about how Conrad can't live without Belly. And how he fucked it up. But if this was Jeremiah speaking, then Conrad supporters would be "he's a fucking creep! It's obvious she doesn't want you! Back off dude!" (Because, news flash, it isn't romantic. It's creepy af. This doesn't make him endearing it makes him a stalker.)
When it comes to Conrad, his fans do everything to find the positive. When Conrad supporters take all of the criticism they put towards Jeremiah it all of a sudden is "acceptable". THAT'S how you know your support isn't for a ship, it's for one person. And THAT'S how you know your criticisms aren't valid. Because if you apply it to one, you have to apply it to the other. Or, you're just being hypocritical.
And once again, Belly is her own villain, and Laurel is responsible for making sure she has a relationship with Belly (not Belly or Jeremiah), and neither brother should "win" her heart. She needs to go to Paris and leave both brothers behind.

“Jeremiah doesn’t listen to Belly” “Jeremiah doesn’t know what Belly wants”
what belly actually communicated to Jeremiah is that she was stressed about the cost of a wedding
Jeremiah came to her with a solution for that problem
and Belly said “you’re right, this is what your dead mum would have wanted for us”
if this is not what belly actually wants, then I’m sorry but the problem is her communication skills not Jeremiah failing to read her mind
