Gah, why does making fan art have to be so difficult. Tried drawing Hazel and Lavinia. Failed miserably. Jealous of other artists who can draw Lavinia and Meg in a unicorn stable whenever they want and turn it into a masterpiece.

percy and annabeth’s dynamic after botl and even during tlo is unparalleled. the way that both of them know exactly what’s happening between them but neither are willing to break the standstill. percy wanting to tell annabeth he doesn’t want to be distant from her but everything became so complicated. annabeth stuttering through her explanation of her prohecy’s last line. connecting eyes in the attic remembering the kiss under mount st helens. annabeth mentioning losing people who are important and percy knowing she’s disappointed in his response. him knowing when she calls him a coward that she isn’t talking about the prophecy. her eyes being red after rachel shows up during the war and he immediately understands why. it’s everything about it and the way the line “i was glad to be with her, but it also kind of hurt and it hurt when i wasn’t with her, too” just sums it up so perfectly.
