Drunken Love Confessions
"I like your stupid face. It’s so stupid. It’s so… I like it. Can I touch it?"
"You're all I ever wanted. I'm sorry I can't say it sober."
"I can't wait for the room to stop spinning, so I can focus on your face again."
"I would love to hear those words in any other place than this bathroom, holding your hair back."
"You're cute. And a bit blurry. But definitely always so cute."
"I think I love you." "And I would love to answer you accordingly, but I think I would appreciate it more when you’re actually able to understand my answer."
"Don't tell my sober me that I told you I love you. It was a secret."
"I…I want to give you my heart. It belongs to… to you. How… how can I give it to you? I dont want it anymore." "Let’s wait until tomorrow with the surgery."
"Oh I'm dreaming of you again. If I wouldn't be dreaming and if you would be really here, then I would tell you I love you."
"I love you. But that's a secret. So I won't tell you about it."
"You're drunk." "Yes. And hopelessly in love with you."
"I'm seeing you twice. Oh, now I can give all my love to even more of you."
"Say that again after two coffees at least and I will be yours."
"You're so adorable. I want to pick you up and never let you down."
"I've always loved you. But I will never tell you."
"This is not a dream, I think. In my dreams we're usually kissing."
"I’m not drunk. Can a drunk person do this?" "You’re not doing anything." "But… I sent you my love. Did you… did you not get it?"
"Can you keep a secret? I am madly in love with you. But psshh."
"I fell in love with you." "No, you fell down the stairs. You should really learn to hold your liquor."
"You're so perfect. How can anyone be so perfect? Maybe you're just a dream."

Choices - Stiles Stilinksi
Tumblr media
Fandom(s): Teen Wolf
Wordcount: 374
Warning(s): Villain Peter, Death, Angst, Love Confession
Summary: She loves him more than her whole life, so she could never hate him.
Tumblr media
She knew she was going to die.
She's fine with it. No, really. It was an obvious choice - Stiles staring at them, at Peter hoisting her and Lydia in the air by their throats. It would be an easy choice, because no matter how much she loves the boy, with his hyperactive mind, full of brilliance but scattered from thoughts, with his melted chocolate eyes, and short hair that she often ran her fingers through whenever they sat together during long nights, relaxing when his mind let him- no matter how much she loves him, no matter if she's one of his best friends, no matter how much she helps him, cares for him, no matter what... she's not Lydia.
"I said pick." Peter spits, shaking as his claws scrape her neck, and Lydia lets out a scared whimper. Nothing comes from her. She knows that it wouldn't even tempt Stiles into choosing her. Her hand comes up to catch against Peter's, and she sinks her nails into his skin, feeling him flinch just a bit.
"Stiles," His eyes flick to her, her voice straining against the grip on her throat. "It's okay. It'll be okay." She promises, her eyes closing as she blocks out his horrified expression. "I love you. I've always loved you, for as long as I've known you, so I know... it's okay." He stutters out her name, and she tightens her grip on Peter's hand. "Save Lydia." She shoves herself onto Peter's claws as Stiles screams, and with a rip of flesh, she drops to the ground, the world rapidly fading around her.
She knew she was going to die, and she was fine with it. Because she could save Lydia. She could save the girl that Stiles loved - the boy she loved - could live happily with the girl he loved. And oh, did she love him. Like the sun loves the moon, so it dies every night so she can live. Like the flowers love the sky, so they longed to reach it. Like Romeo loves Juliet, so they died to be together. Like the ocean loves the shore, so it never gives up reaching it. She loves Stiles enough to sacrifice everything, even her life, for him.

Meet Parker - My OC
Tumblr media
Face claim: Elle Fanning (just her face, her hair and eye color may vary)
Hobbies: Writing, Reading, Drawing, Running, and Dancing
Relations: It will vary from story to story- in some, she may not be related to anyone, in others, she could be dating Stiles, Jordan, Scott, or Derek, or related to any of them.
Fandoms: She'll mainly be used for my Teen Wolf fics (there will be others soon, I'm just going through a hyperfixation)
Supernatural: Maybe? Might vary.
If Supernatural, then what kind?: I'm thinking a fae of some kind
Does she know about the supernatural?: Might vary, but probably not at first.
Does she know she's supernatural?: Unlikely. She just has this magnetic pull to her, which makes her really likable.
Age: Again, varies.
Will you redo the whole series with her?: Probably not.
Why an OC?: I was having problems not specifying descriptions or names. This seemed easier.
Personality: It'll vary depending on the story, but I'd say she'll be cheerful and smart, maybe a bit jaded.
Miscellaneous: She's got a touch of OCD and the tism. She also can get very red when embarrassed and cries when she gets extremely angry.
Tbc??
AN: I hope everyone will continue to read and enjoy the stories I produce, I am just not used to writing nondescript characters, and I'm finding it harder and hard to do, so I need a base to work with. Please don't hate me for it.

Dance with somebody - Derek Hale
Tumblr media
Fandom(s): Teen Wolf
Wordcount: 1219
Warning(s): Mentions of sex, story about being bullied, age gap, MDNI
Summary: Winter Formal, dancing, it wasn't exactly her speed, but she's protective of her friends and family.
Sitting on the steps to the gym, she sighs as she rests her chin in her hand, watching couples come and go, music pulsating and lights flashing. When her brother and Stiles convinced her to come to the Winter Formal, she didn't think she'd have to dress for it, or that Stiles would have a date, and Scott would be stalking Allison, leaving her alone. So, she's been shoved, tucked, and zipped into a short dress, face caked with makeup, hair done up, and uncomfortable heels pinching her feet as she stands guard for any sign of the Alpha.
<Does Not Follow The Episode>
Tumblr media
"You don't look like you're having fun." Derek says as he approaches the school, hands shoved into his pockets.
"It's a dance. I lost interest in dances, my Freshman year." She replies, looking down at him as he comes to a stop at the bottom of the stairs. "It's not like you, to crash a dance."
"What do you know about me?" He huffs, ad she shrugs, rubbing her arms for warmth.
"You put on a tough front, because you're afraid to be hurt, or to seem weak. You use anger to cope, to have some modicum of control. You refuse to acknowledge that you care too much, especially when it comes to your pack or family." She gives him a grin, as he frowns. "Psych paper's due next week. How'm I doin?" She asks, throwing an arm over her knee, and Derek shakes his head, climbing up and dropping onto the step next to her.
"See, maybe that's why Peter wants to eliminate you. You see too much."
"I just see what is in front of me." She answers, fidgeting with the hem of her dress. "I can't believe I came to this stupid thing. I can't believe that Scott asked me to, after-"
"After?" He urges her as she falls silent, and she shakes her head, rubbing her arms again.
"My first and last dance was Freshman year. I was super excited about "being an adult" and staying out late. Getting to dance with my friends, with a boy." She laughs weakly, shaking her head. "You said it before, that I'm the pushy type, I care too much and let it be known. Well, I was asked by this really popular kid, to the dance, and I got all dressed up, like now... I was stupid."
"What happened?" He asks, looking her over before he shrugs off his leather jacket, tossing it over her bare shoulders, making her jump, looking down at it, before looking over at him with a smile.
"I walked to the dance, because I was too excited to wait to be picked up, but when I got there, he was standing with a bunch of his friends, and they saw me, and started laughing. He asked if I really thought he was serious about asking me out, and then they all started throwing water balloons at me. Some of them were filled with paint, others with rotten eggs, or nasty fruits, and dirty water." She shrugs, not noticing Derek tensing his jaw, clenching his hands into fists. "Learned my lesson then. I'm pathetically hopeful, and people see that. They use it to hurt me, but I refuse to let them use it to hurt others."
"...I'm sorry." Derek apologizes, and she shifts in place, shrugging his jacket over her shoulders more.
"Happens. People are assholes. Can't trust em."
"You're a little young to have that point of view."
"Derek, I'm 19." He blinks in surprise at her. "I turn 20 in a few months. The only reason I'm still in school, is because Scott and I used to live with our dad, but we moved in with our mom when his drinking got out of control again. Mom thought it'd be best for me to start a grade lower than I was supposed to, because of our dad's negligence in our school lives." She looks at him with a sideways smirk. "I'm not that much younger than you."
"I thought you'd be like 18."
"Is that so?" She tilts her head, smirk growing as she looks up at him from beneath her lashes. "Is that why you've been flirting with me one minute, then acting cold the next?"
"I wasn't-"
"Not a child Derek, I know when someone's flirting with me."
"Sorry..."
"Don't be. At least I know you weren't being a creep." She laughs, shivering a bit as she stands, brushing the skirt of her dress down, and Derek frowns, standing to follow her down the steps. "I think the boys and I have the school covered. You can head out."
"Do you have a date, coming to sit with you?"
"Do you see me as the dating type? High school is all about short burnout romances, that last about a week- a month if you're lucky. Last thing I need is some kid mooning over me, once he gets his dick wet." Derek chokes on the sharp inhale he takes, and she smirks, reaching up to pat him on the shoulder. "I'm a big girl, Derek Hale. I know what I want, and I know what boys constantly think about." She laughs at the pallor that overcomes his face. "Too much?"
"Little bit." He replies, and she shrugs off his jacket, handing it to him, but he shakes his head. "Keep it on. You seem to be planning to stay out here all night, and it's just gonna get colder."
"Mm..." She steps closer to him, smile nervous but well hidden as she touches his arm. "Or, you could keep me warm."
"What?" His eyes are wide as she laughs.
"Not that way, weirdo. Dance with me!" She grabs his hand, and he moves easily, looking like he's breathing again after she shrugs on the jacket, then she sets his hands on her waist, then threads her arms around his neck as they start to sway to the slow music coming from the gymnasium. "You'll have to forgive me, if I step on your feet. I've never danced with someone that wasn't stepping on mine before."
"Scott?"
"And Stiles." She laughs softly, shaking her head as he spins her.
"Of course you'd dance with those two."
"For a long time, those two were the only boys who wanted to dance with me." She replies as he pulls her closer.
"Not anymore. You're too beautiful to sit on the sidelines anymore." The husky chuckle that escapes him at her blush makes her blush worsen, hiding her face in his neck. "You're so confident, up until you're complimented." She purposefully stomps on his toe, making him laugh again. "Feisty."
"You like it." She retorts, and he lifts her face with a finger under her chin.
"I do." She stiffens, blush growing hotter as he leans in, kissing her, and she giggles shyly as he pulls away, one of her hands raising to card into his hair, pulling him down to her as she kisses him, making him grin in return.
AN: In my state, you can be in high school until you're 21, then you're required to take the GED test, rather than get your diploma. I dunno about California. Thanks for reading and enjoying!

Stars Shining - Derek Hale
Tumblr media
Fandom(s): Teen Wolf
Wordcount: 1188
Warning(s): Discussions of death, lots of talking, kisses
Summary: Stars shining bright above you. Night breezes seem to whisper, I love you.
Tumblr media
Soft jazz plays from her stereo in the corner of the room as she lounges in her bed, book held aloft as she clenches her pencil between her teeth, trying to find the part that she wanted to underline again, when a tapping sound at her window startles her. Rolling over onto her stomach, she narrows her eyes at the window pane as a tapping starts on the window once more. Sliding off the edge of her bed, she grabs the bat at her feet, inching towards the window, and she flinches as the tap of a stone on window makes her startle, before she frowns.
Unlocking the window, she slides it up with the bat still in her hand, dodging another rock as she pokes her head out the window, pausing at sight of Derek Hale standing at the base of the tree outside the Stilinksi house. Frowning, she sets her bat to the side, stepping back as soon as Derek scales the outside of the house, before he leans against the wall beside the window, crossing his arms over his chest as she drops onto her bed.
"What were you hoping to do with that?" Derek asks, jerking his head to the bat on the floor.
"You have claws, I have a bat."
"What is with you Stilinksis and your answers? It's almost like you and Stiles are the same person." Derek says, and she laughs, running her fingers through her hair as she shrugs.
"He's my little brother." She explains, picking up her book from where she had set it, pencil plucked from the spine, where she placed it to mark her place. "What's up? You've never come here like this, before."
"I just needed an escape." He shrugs. "Being alone with Peter can be draining."
"So, you thought I was a better choice?" She laughs, laying back on her bed as she folds her book shut, tossing it onto her bedside table.
"You're calm... mellow." Derek answers.
"You mean boring?" She sits up, carding her fingers through her hair to push it back from her face. "You can say it. I'm boring."
"Since we're saying it, yeah. You are boring. But, maybe boring is what I need right now." She laughs again, leaning back in the sheets as she crosses her legs, staring up at the star-studded ceiling.
"When I was younger, I was never boring." She admits, fingers gripping the sheets to pull at the loose strings, a habit she's always had- it drove her dad nuts when she started doing it, because she would pluck a hole in them, causing it to unravel further, so he'd constantly have to replace them- He never said anything though, because it only started after Claudia died. "I wanted to travel, and do stuff, and now I'm stuck in my hometown, in my childhood bedroom, no less, because I can't leave my brother to run around like an idiot, because his idiot best friend became a werewolf!" She laughs at herself, pressing a hand to her forehead, surprised when Derek sits on the edge of the bed.
"What did you want to do? Where did you want to travel?" He asks, her lips spreading into a smile as she looks up at the blue of her ceiling.
"I wanted to go to the mountains. To Colorado. I wanted to live in a cabin, and walk amongst the stars and trees."
"You can do that, here."
"At the added risk of being bitten, ate, or scratched."
"You could get that anywhere. Especially with bears." He chuckles, and she slaps him lightly on the arm.
"Look," She points at the painted blue ceiling, the stars that stick to the ceiling are meant to glow, but the lamplight is glowing now, so they won't light up. He shuffles down to lay on the bed beside her, and she smiles over at him "There's ursa minor, or The Little Bear, or the little dipper. You see at the tip of the tail there, it's Polaris, and then bup bup bup bup bup!" She points to the cluster of stars, five away from Polaris. "That is Cepheus. That star over there is Navi, and then Shedar, along with those two, it makes up the constellation Cassopeia."
"You really like the stars enough to name em?"
"I used to go outside at night, with my mom, and we'd lay under the stars, and she'd tell me stories about them. Those over there, is The Pleiades, or the Seven Sisters." She bites her bottom lip in thought. "The Pleiades were the seven daughters of Atlas, a Titan that has forever been cursed to hold up the sky. Zeus turned the sisters into stars to protect them from Orion, the hunter, but one of the sisters fell in love with a mortal, and went into hiding. That's why there are only six visible in the night sky, now."
"So, you know the stories too?" Derek asks, and she sits up, smirking at him.
"There are thousands of legends. But, I prefer the Greek ones. I have a passion for mythology." She shrugs as he looks up at the ceiling again.
"So, you studied the night sky enough, to memorize the layout of the constellations, and replicate it on your ceiling. Although, condensed." Derek frowns for a second. "But, this isn't the sky that's outside your house, is it?" She frowns then, looking away as she rubs her hands on her pant legs, and he sits up. "What?"
"No, it's uh..." She looks back at him with a sad smile. "It's the sky outside the hospital." Understanding flashes in his eyes, and he nods, reaching out to wrap his arm around her shoulders, surprising her when he drags her in for a hug.
"I'm sorry." She lets out a wet laugh, sounding shocked and hollow. "I am."
"I know." She pulls back, reaching up to cup his cheek. "I just find it ironic that you're comforting me. Yeah, I lost my mom, but you lost... everyone." She strokes his cheek as he looks down at her, his eyes flicking between her own. She sucks in a sharp gasp when he leans in, kissing her, and she hums, eyes fluttering shut as she leans into it, kissing him back. "W-Why did you do that?" She murmurs, once they part, and Derek looks down at her, a troubled furrow to his brow as he sweeps his thumb across her chin.
"Because... you're beautiful, and kind, and gentle, and you light up when you talk about things you love, and... I couldn't resist." He leans in to kiss her again, and she sighs as she leans into him, hands clutching his shirt as he tangles his own into her hair.
"You're lucky, Derek Hale."
"Lucky?" He breathes, nose brushing against her own, and she peers uo at him with wide eyes.
"I don't normally kiss on the first date."

Memories - Stiles Stilinksi
Tumblr media
Fandom(s): Teen Wolf
Wordcount: 446
Warning(s): implied suggestive content (mdni), fluff
Summary: She can vividly see each moment up until they fell in love.
Memories dance behind her eyes
Tumblr media
Sitting at a desk, watching him balance a pencil on his nose, before startling at the teacher's sharp call of his name, and she has to cover her mouth to muffle her laughter.
Watching him stick two French fries in his mouth across from her, pretending to be a walrus.
Sneaking out of her window, falling only for him to catch her, their breathes mingling at their shock, faces mere inches from each other.
Dancing in the rain, after a long day of the world seeming to kick them when they were down.
Jumping on one another in a pile of crisp leafs, laughing and throwing handfuls, teasing jeers thrown at one another.
Sitting outside the gymnasium, after her date ditched her, and he bows, offering her hand with a simple "may I have this dance?" before pulling her to her feet, turning every awkward fumble into a masterful spin and dip.
Leaning against him as they sit on the hood of his car, watching the stars glowing over the city.
Calling him on the phone in tears, needing him to talk her down frim a panic attack.
Laying in bed, head against his chest, legs tangled together as he murmured a random list of things he wants them to do.
Watching him spend hours, focused on piecing things together, and chasing after their tasks.
Learning how to drive, doing donuts in the parking lot of the baseball field, squealing and yelling in fun as he guides her through each turn.
Waking up in the morning to an old alarm clock, because the loud screech of it is the only way that he can wake up, and sitting up, only for him to wind an arm around her, pulling her back with a sleepy grin to kiss her shoulder, and murmur "five more minutes".
Playing Mario kart on the floor, he reaches over to cover her eyes, and she has to lean into him to try and get a view of the TV.
Laughing boisterously as she flings flour at him, and he retaliates with a spoonful of coconut butter, and then there is sugar, and eggs, and the kitchen is a mess, the two of them gasping for breath at the end, before locking eyes.
Heat and electricity and an undeniable chemistry, and suddenly she's kissing him, or he's kissing her, and there are groping hands, and stumbling feet, and then a bed. It's burning, and makes her heart ache from excitement.
Kissing each and every one of his freckled moles, running her fingers through his hair, watching the world pass by outside the window.
Falling in love with her best friend. With her Stiles. Feeling like she could die happy with him in her arms.
Figured I owed y'all some best boy Stiles content because, let's face it, if y'all didn't fall in love with his character, you're missing out. Enjoy! -COTF

The Hail of Pain - Derek Hale
Tumblr media
Fandom(s): Teen Wolf
Wordcount: 620
Warning(s): Blood, death, angst
Summary: The battle between the Alpha Pack and Derek's pack is not without casualties.
The plunge of claws in her abdomen is accompanied by a searing pain, like a white-hot branding iron has been shoved through her stomach, and she chokes, world blurring as the large man before her grins, twisted amusement dancing in his eyes.
Tumblr media
"No!" Someone shouts as Ennis withdraws his claws from her, blood gushing from the wound as she stumbles, knees giving out as she swallows thickly, a salty and metallic taste on her tongue. "No no no no!" She's in someone's arms, her eyes slowly blinking away tears as she looks up at the person holding her. Hazel eyes, so beautiful, piercing, the memories- their first meeting in the woods flash across her mind, nights spent laughing and playfully sparring, days of thick tension that went unspoken between them, jealousy whenever one of them had a partner- sleek scruff lines his jaw, and he gives her a gentle shake. "Hey! Hey hey hey, look at me. Look at me, beautiful." He murmurs as she blinks, a tear trailing down her cheek. "I can fix this. I-I can make this better. Please, let me fix this."
"You can't." She murmurs, voice hoarse. "It can't be fixed... this was meant to happen." She lifts her hand, blood stained fingers tracing his cheek as she smiles weakly up at him, noticing Scott, Allison, Lydia, and Issac all gathered round, watching them.
"Let me bite you. Please, baby, I can fix this." Derek pleads, and she laughs softly.
"It's okay. It's okay." She promises, body feeling heavier by the second. "It was meant to be this way." She murmurs, blinking away another tear. "I-I'm dying... in the arms of the man I love." She lets out a raspy laugh. "I do love you. I always have." Her eyes trail over his face as he closes his eyes, choking on a sob. "Look at me." He opens his eyes. "You may be a werewolf, but you're not a monster. Don't-" She sucks in a shuttering breath. "Don't let them turn you into a monster." Derek nods, taking the hand that reaches for his face again, pressing a kiss to her bloodied fingers. "I love you."
"I love you too." He murmurs, and she lets out a pained whimper, before Derek leans in, resting his forehead against her own, veins in his head becoming blown out and black, absorbing her pain as she lets out a tearful laugh. "Please. Pleasepleasepleaseplease." Derek pleads as he feels her chest heave, lungs trying to fill with air, despite being punctured, stomach pumping blood everywhere from where it's been ripped open. She coughs, blood leaking out of her mouth, before she gives a rattling "I love you," and her body falls limp, eyes glossy and body pale, hand falling from Derek's grasp. "Sweetheart?" Derek murmuring, leaning back to look at her. "Baby? Please wake up. Please?" He pleads, shaking her lifeless body. "Please, Baby, don't leave me. I love you. Please don't leave." He begs in vain, knowing that nothing will bring her back. Choked out sobs, stuck in his throat, are echoed by their friends, their pack, and suddenly, the air rumbles with a loud roar of pain, howl echoing through the air as Derek throws his head back, Scott chiming in next, their voices sailing all the way through Beacon Hills. Other packs howl in return, responding to their pain with replies, before Derek breaks down into tears, head resting against her chest as he clutches her to him, as though he's afraid she'll disappear from his grasp. "I love you. I love you. Please... please come back."

Mechanical - Jordan Parrish
Tumblr media
Fandom(s): Teen Wolf
Wordcount: 1041
Warning(s): Fluff?, Kisses,
Summary: Just her luck, huh?
Tumblr media
The stars are shining overhead, wind blowing crisp leafs over the ground, a flickering streetlight gleams over her as she mutters a litany of curses as she drops the wrench in her hand at the sharp jolt of electricity that zaps her hand. Hopping back, she shoves her hand into her mouth, laving over the shock with her tongue, pausing to watch the purple webbing pattern that is spread across the side of her hand quickly fade, sighing as she leans heavily against the side of her car.
"Please, Gods and Goddesses above. Please. If you get me out of this, I'll be good. I won't pick on Stiles anymore, I-I'll donate all my clothes to charity. I'll... I don't know what else, but I'll do it!" The response she gets is a distant rumble, before lightning strikes across the sky, and nonexistent clouds appear, only breaking open to pour rain down on her. "Seriously?!" A soft sob escapes her mouth, eyes falling shut as rain pounds on her, coating her, soaking her, making her shake. Slamming the hood shut, she kicks the wheel of her broken down, beat up old Toyota, making it squeak, before she climbs into the driver's side, slamming the door as she shakes out her hair, wrenching as much water out of it as she can, before she reaches over to grab her phone, scrolling through her contacts.
Stiles would recommend duct tape, and she's pretty sure it wouldn't help in this context. Her dad? No, he's been pulling doubles at the station, and is probably sleeping at the dinner table, pouring over files for answers to The Beast. Lydia would come give her a ride, but she really should be resting after Einchen House. Scott? No, that's just asking for trouble right now. Her finger hovers over a familiar number, of someone that her dad disapproved of her befriending, to the point where he threatened to demote the deputy when he found her laughing as she lounged against his desk. It seemed like everyone had driven a wedge between the two of them.
A strike of lightning in the distances has her jump, finger falling on the call button before she realizes it, making her wince as she hesitantly raises the phone to her ear. Please don't pick up. Please don't pick up. She thinks, but the phone barely rings for a second time, before it's picked up with tired "Hullo?" making her flinch. Shit!
"H-Hey, Parrish." He murmurs her name in confusion, and she lets out a weak laugh. "Yeah, uh, I'm sorry... I didn't know who else to call."
"What's going on? Is something wrong?"
"No! No. I uh..." Her head falls against her steering wheel, clenching her eyes shut as a rumble of thunder booms in the distance. "My car won't start." She laughs breathlessly.
"What?! Where are you? I'm coming to get you." He says, and she hears the shuffle of clothes, and the clink of a belt, making her frown.
"Did I wake you?"
"No. Don't worry about it." He answers, before there is a clank of a door latching, and she grips her steering wheel with one hand, muttering a curse directed at herself. "Hey! No berating yourself. Now, tell me where you are." She rattles off the street name, and Parrish repeats it for confirmation. "I'm not far now..."
"Kay." She feels a sudden tightness in her throat.
"You okay? Is there something wrong?" He asks, his kindness making guilt weigh in her chest.
"N-No. I-It's nothing." She answers, and jumps when there is a knock on her window, making her look over to see Jordan standing there, phone in hand, covered by his deputy jacket. She pops open the door as they both hang up, rain falling around them as he lifts his jacket, covering her as well as she slams the door to her car shut with a loud metallic creak.
"I'll call you a tow tomorrow, for now we should get you home. Where it's safe." She nods, feeling that tightness in her chest and throat grow, before she follows close beside him as he guides her to his car, catching her as she trips over her own feet, touch lingering as she looks up at him.
"...thanks." She murmurs, turning away as he opens the door, covering her as she climbs in. He's at his side, climbing into the car as she buckles up, freezing as she looks up, and he's mere inches from her face, looking at her. The air is thick with awkwardness, charged with an electrical current that always seems to linger between them. "Thank you, Jordan... for coming to get me."
"You don't need to thank me. I'll always come for you." She feels heat flood her face at his promise, his words making her breath catch in her chest. He murmurs her name, and she reaches down, grabbing his hand as she rests her forehead against his own, absorbing his presence as much as she can. "I've missed you."
"Me too." She laughs softly. "Goddess above, I've missed you." She shakes her head, leaning back to look into his green eyes. "You know that I wasn't ignoring or avoiding you by choice, right?"
"I know. Sheriff Stilinksi threatened me, if I didn't stay away, that I'd know what the barrel of his gun would look like." She blinks, shocked by the fact that her father would threaten him like that.
"Yet, you still came." She murmurs, and Parrish grins softly, reaching up to wick away a drop of rain from her cheek.
"You're worth it." His words light a fire with her, and she reaches across the center console, hands grasping his face, before she is kissing him, the heat of his skin making her body flush, especially when one of his hands cups her waist, tucking up under her shirt, the other cupping her cheek, kissing her back in return. "So worth it." He murmurs, before kissing her again.
"Definitely."

Summary: Derek comes to check on her after the events that unfolded.

The scent of petrichor and decay surround her as she lay among crip leafs, her breath visible puffs in the air as she stares at the sky above her, stars twinkling in the dead of night, blurred by tears that are drying, sticky on her face. Deucalion was finally defeated, Jennifer was gone, Noah was safe, Chris was safe, Melissa was safe, her mom was safe- things were good. But, Gods and Goddesses above was she tired. She sacrificed herself with Scott, Allison, and Stiles, to save all four of their parents, leaving her feeling this darkness staining her soul, at every moment of every day, and if it wasn't for her friends, it would cripple her.
The crunch of footsteps make her suck in a sharp breath, reaching up to wipe her face as she sits up, pausing at the sight of the Beta standing a few feet from where she lay, hands shoved into the pockets of his leather jacket. His green gaze is piercing in the light of the moon, not quite full but reaching it, lips set in a firm line as she brushes some hair from her face. As if her movement spurns him into moving, he crosses to her, settling on the ground beside her, one arm thrown over his knee as he looks out at the forest that lines the back of her house.
"Why?" He asks, and she swallows thickly, looking away, already knowing the question he's referring to.
"Because... if I could help, then I should. She's my mother." Derek sighs at that, turning his head to look at her as she shrugs. "It's not like she abused me... she just ignored me. She didn't know how to cope after my dad's death." She pauses, looking up at the stars again. "I think she blamed more for it, because I survived the crash, and he didn't." She wraps her arms around her knees, drawing them to her chest.
"You corrupted your soul for her, only for her to act like she's terrified of you." She snorts, reaching up to palm her eye.
"I use magic Derek."
"And I have fangs and claws. Which of these do you think should cause her more concern?" He pauses, shaking his head. "Nevermind... I didn't come to fight." He looks at her. "How're you doing? How're... How are we doing?" The reference to the unspoken tension between the two of them makes her cheeks flood with heat, looking away as her heart skips in her chest.
"I dunno." She admits, and Derek frowns, looking away as he clenches his jaw, flexing it back and forth as he grinds his teeth. "Look, Derek, we both knew things wouldn't- couldn't- progress between us, at not while I'm still in school. But, you kinda slept with and sided with a murderer." She points out. "Again."
"You can't hold Kate against me. I didn't do that as an adult." He states, looking over at her. "I was a kid." She raises a hand and his brow furrows. "You're 18, about to be 19."
"Just because I'm a year older than Scott and Stiles, doesn't make me not a kid."
"Stop. Just stop." Derek reaches out to grab her hand. "You've made your point. I just... it's different. We're different." Silence lingers between them as she stares at him, at his hand, holding her own, warm and callused, and it makes her feel so much more than if Scott or Stiles or Isaac had grabbed it.
"I-I-" Derek seems to notice, because he pulls her to him, and she shifts to her knees, letting him all but pull her into his lap as he trails his other hand up to cup her face, thumb stroking her cheek.
"You were crying." A surprised laugh echoes in the clearing, escaping her as she nods, his brow furrowing again.
"Tends to happen when emotions come to a head. I needed a good cry." She admits, and Derek knows how hard that is for her to admit, to him, to herself, to anyone. She doesn't like to admit needing to be vulnerable, to anyone. "Can I have my arm back?" She asks, still stretched out with her wrist caught in his hand, pulled over his lap, straddling one of his legs. He releases her as she brings her arm to her chest, cradling it as she feels the burn of his touch lingering on her skin, his other hand is still stroking her cheek as she looks down, rocking back to sit back on her knees. "What're you gonna do now?" She asks quietly, and Derek looks down as he drops his hand from her cheek.
"Take Cora back to South America. That's where the rest of our remaining family is."
"Oh." She shifts, scooting further away as he flexes his hand, like he's trying to prevent himself from reaching for her again, to pull her back in his close proximity. "I-I see." She rubs her cheeks, as though trying to get heat back into them, but secretly trying, in vain, to wipe his touch from her skin. His touch still on her skin, seared into her cheek like a burn, a matching sensation gripping her chest. "W-Will you come back?"
"No." He visibly hesitates. "I... I don't know. Maybe? I have things that I have to do. Things that I need to do." He admits, and she bites her bottom lip, tugging at the chapped skin as he reaches out, lifting her face to look in her eyes, thumb tracing her lip to pull it from between her teeth. "Yes." He finally says, determination in his voice. "Yes. I will come back." He brushes a stray hair from her face, leaning closer as her breathing hitches. "I'll be back for you." His promise makes her heart skip another beat, before he presses a kiss to her lips, making her hum in surprise, leaning in to kiss him in return. "I'll come back for you." He promises again.
"You better." She murmurs, and then he's gone, the cold air surrounding her burns, the lingering touch and taste of his lips makes her skin sting blissfully. "Don't forget about me." She whispers into the air.

Do you believe?
Tumblr media
Fandom: X-Men
Word count: 327
Warning(s): Fluff. Implied sexual content. Logan being Logan.
Summary: Do you believe in love at first sight?
Tumblr media
"Do you believe in love at first sight?"
It was the strangest question that he had possibly ever been asked. He didn't love her at first glance, seeing as they were either fighting or fucking since day one. But she asked him again, and again, after every doctor's appointment, after every ultrasound, and soon he realized, she wasn't asking for her. She was asking for their child. Their accidental miracle that had started to grow, to take shape, inside her. The thing that made them stop fighting, though fucking was never off the table- her appetite was almost as voracious as his own, especially with her hormones. Still, he played the fool, because he didn't believe in love at first sight. He didn't believe in it when he saw their little bean on the monitor, or when they heard the rapid heartbeats of their little alien- "It's not an alien, Logan!" She had scolded him at that, swatting him with a harsh glare, pouting when he chuckled and just kissed her forehead. Logan didn't believe in love at first sight, though he definitely believed in lust at first sight, which had slowly started to turn to love, the more they spent picking out wallpaper for the nursery, and arguing about names, and running for late night cravings, and rubbing her back as she cuddled against him in her sleep.
She asked him once more, the day of delivery, a simple, small smile on her face. "Do you believe in love at first sight?" She murmured as she lay, exhausted, sweaty faced as the doctors handed him the small pink bundle, which made him almost terrified to hold in his arms. Tears welled in his eyes, chest heaving with the strain of trying to hold back sobs, and he leaned down to kiss her on the forehead, cradling their daughter between them. All he said was two simple words.
"I do."
