Data-Driven Decision Making (DDDM)
Nowadays the world is becoming smart. People are setting SMART goals and achieving them through new techniques. Businesses nowadays want to grow fast and smartly. They want results instead of excuses. To meet such demands, people are learning new ways to formulate results faster. One way to get results and solutions very effectively is to make data-driven decisions.
Data is the new oil and we can’t agree more. Data is so important in recent times, it can make or break organizations. Fields like Data sciences and data analytics are booming due to the demand for professionals who can perform work on Data. Organizations nowadays tend to make Data-driven decisions. These decisions are based on the facts which are driven by raw data of the company. Data can be the sales from the last year, no of orders, no of returns, anything that includes numbers or figures. Or even the polls which are conducted in the companies, literally anything can be used as data and we can make conclusions based on that data.
For example, a company wants to increase its sales through advertisement. They hire a data analyst to find a solution to this problem. The data analyst will first of all list down all the advertisement mediums. Then he will try to figure out what age group and gender will be interested to buy that product. After figuring that out he will find out which advertisement channel is used by that specific target audience. And in the end, he will come up with an advertising medium that will be used to market that product. And it is imminent that customers will come through that medium.
That’s how a data-driven decision is made and it is much more effective than just assumptions.

What is a Website Developer and What do they do?
A web developer is the one who writes the code that tells the website how to function. Basically, a web developer creates web pages from the wireframes which are provided by web designers. Other than the look and feel of the website, web developers define the workflow of the website.
There are three types of web developers
· Front end (client-side)
· Backend (server-side)
· Full-stack
FRONT END WEB DEVELOPER
Let’s break down website development into two parts. The front end, and the backend. The front end focuses on the look and feel of the website. The visual and design elements of the website come under the front-end development. It is also called client-side development because the client or the user only looks at the website and its design. They are not concerned about the working at the backend. And this is the work, a frontend web developer does.
Front-end developer specializes in programming languages that handle the design and structure of the website. They include HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Front-end developers are often confused with web designers, although there is some similarity in both of their jobs there is a big difference. Website designers design the concept art, and prototype of a website through tools that are available for free on the internet. Whereas web developers develop the real product through programming based on the prototypes created by web designers.
BACKEND WEB DEVELOPER
As we have seen in the work of the front-end developer, the backend developer is the brains behind a website. You click on the product and it moves to your cart. How? Thank a backend developer for that. Backend development is the behind-the-scenes action that is not visible to the user. That’s why it is also called server-side development.
A backend web developer performs all the programming that is necessary to incorporate functional features on the website. The programming languages used in backend development are Python, Ruby, and SQL
FULL-STACK WEB DEVELOPER
And then there are some high intellectuals who specialize in both of the developments. They handle the frontend development as well as backend development very well. They are called Full stack web developers.
Depending on the size of the company, a developer may be working on the specialized feature of a website or some small tasks, whereas a freelance developer will be working on the whole website by himself. That’s how the nature of web development is. No two days are the same for either of the developers.

How to make an outstanding CV
Technology is evolving and so is the hiring process of companies. Employers used to see each CV by themselves and after reading all the CVs they used to shortlist people but now things have changed. Now employers use software to scan the CVs and it’s up to the technology if your CV will be forwarded to the HR or not. So why not make your CVs compatible to pass the software check.
Here are some techniques that you can use to make an outstanding CV.
Strong opening Summary
They say the first impression is the last impression. So, your CV should start by grabbing the attention of the employer. Writing a strong Career summary can do wonders for you. You should define your career highlights and goals that you want to achieve in your summary. You have to convince the employer that you are the best they will hire. This doesn’t mean you have to lie on your resume. You can do that by using strong statements that define you.
Results rather than responsibilities
Employers want to know what value you will add to their work. They don’t care how you do it. So, it’s better to highlight what you did for your former companies rather than telling them about your responsibilities. This will create a sense of belief and hope in the employer that you will prove beneficial to them.
Customized CV
Relevancy really matters. Your CV should be relevant for the job you are applying for. Make sure you make adjustments to your CV before applying for any job. Go through the job requirements and job descriptions and craft your CV according to them.
Growth and Change
Employers want to see how much you have grown from the start of your career. In your summary, show them that you have gained experience and grown as a professional. Your interpersonal skills also matter a lot.
Connections and Referrals
The Internet has made the world a global village. Having a vast social circle is a plus point. Make sure to show that you have good networking with people that have crossed paths with you at some time or stage of life. This shows that you are reliable and people like to be around you. Even if they don’t meet you, they like to be in touch with you.
Industry Insights
This one will help you in your interviews too. Try to collect as much information about the industry you are applying for. Employers expect that you will have a sound knowledge about the industry trends and a plus point would be that you have knowledge about the company you are applying in.
Powerful Words
The most important trick to cracking the CV filter is to use powerful and unique words. You don’t have to be from a queue of people, your CV should stand out from the ordinary. It should tell itself that you are the one that is like none other. Don’t use templates or pre-made statements. Instead, Craft your Own CV. I am sure it will be unique.
We hope that these tips will help you make an outstanding CV and will lead you to new opportunities.

Cloth Photography
Clothing is necessary for everyone and demand for clothes are almost year-round. Fashion trends keep coming and going every month. Clothing brands need to cope with the trends. Many brands have an awesome collection but they fail to advertise their products because they don’t know how to photograph their products. Unprofessional pictures can be a big turn-off for the customer. People tend to buy stuff that is clearly visible and appealing. So, let’s find out what is the correct way of taking photographs of clothes.
First, you need to have all the equipment needed for the photoshoot. You should keep in mind that the lighting needs to be perfect so that the colors can be represented clearly. The camera angle needs to be correct, so your products don’t look out of symmetry, style your clothes, so they should look appealing, using a mannequin or a model can be beneficial, and other than that you can take pictures flat lay or using a hanger.
A little bit of graphic design knowledge would be required if your product includes graphic printing. You can use T-shirt mockups to get images or graphics printed on them using Photoshop or illustrator.
Natural lighting is always preferred if available. It produces natural colors and looks more appealing. Artificial lighting can be used if you are shooting in a dark environment. The goal is to clearly show the cloth designs. Using models to show cloth designs is the much-preferred way.

Your Guide to Customer Service
A business has a lot of modules. Many parts. Marketing, Sales, Invoicing, Etc. when you have customers, you want them to come back. Winning new customers is more expensive than retaining your old customers. Customer service is all about that. Retaining your customers.
Customer service is more than just solving a customer’s problem. It is about being available for the customer at any time frame of the day and by any means of their choice- phone, text, e-mail, and more. This creates a very strong impact on your customers. They find it easy to convey their issues and be more open to the brand. Loyalty to the brand is also developed and they are likely to remain your customer for the long term. It’s simple human psychology, a person will go where he will be warmly welcomed and that is exactly what Customer Service is.
Customer service can play to be a differentiator that sets you apart from your competitors. Your customer service will get mature with time. With time, you will start making more and more personalized experiences for your customers. In fact, 80% of the customers say that the experience a company provides is as important as the product so if you think your sales are going down and reviews are getting worst, try investing in customer service.
There are some points that you need to implement while performing Customer Service
Offer Support on every channel
Some people are comfortable on-call and some are shy and they don’t want to come on call and are comfortable texting. Some corporate people like to stay connected via Emails. So you should be proactive about your customer’s choices. Be ready on every possible channel.
Quality and Speed
Quality over quantity? Yes, that is preferred but why not a balance of both? Make sure to provide timely solutions without compromising on the quality. I know this is hard but practice makes perfect.
Train your Agents
Your agents are your brand ambassadors. They are the ones who will be interacting with the customers so why not train them? Soft skills are very helpful in this field. Train them about how to talk with different types of customers. Some people are easygoing but some are hard to converse with. Handling them with ease will be a challenging task but this is where you will strike gold.
What is success?
In customer service, sales are not success. Revenue is not success. Retaining your customers is success. Customer satisfaction is success.
I can go on and on about this but the key points are mentioned. Customer service is a win-win situation for both the company and the customer so why not utilize it and take your business to another level.

The Art of Digital Marketing – Influencer Marketing
What is Influencer Marketing?
The greater the audience, the greater the potential of getting more sales on your site if you advertise the product right. But everyone cannot have a following of thousands and millions. There are people on social media platforms who have a vast following. They are usually content creators or bloggers. They are also called social media influencers. People follow them and want to duplicate what they do, use, wear, or even eat. Believe it or not but this is very common. These influencers are an opportunity for businesses who want to increase their brand awareness. Businesses can use their platforms to advertise their products obviously by paying them or by sending them their products to get reviews, and basically, this process is called influencer marketing. This is another form of digital marketing.
Types of Influencers
Now there are different types of influencers. They can be food bloggers, fashion bloggers, make-up bloggers, etc. there are numerous niches and every niche has many influencers. So you have many options to choose from. If your product is related to apparel, using a fashion blogger would be beneficial, but if you choose a food blogger to advertise your apparel, things might not work for you. So be very careful while selecting your influencers.
The Process
An influencer marketer is the one who approaches these influencers and gets the deal done. Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite in this work as you will be talking to a number of influencers and discussing pay rates. You have to be convincing enough to get them to agree to the lowest rates possible. Now rates can be of different categories. They might put up a story and endorse your brand. A story lasts for 24 hours. Another method can be posting a post about your product on their feed. The post will remain there forever unless they delete it for some reason. Or 3rd option can be post + story. And you can have an idea that the 3rd option will be the costliest as they will do both things for you.
After payment is done, they put up your posts and link your website, their viewers view their post and if they like it, they click the link and get directed to your website. And that’s that. Their work is done. But not yours. Now when the observation period is done, you will ask the influencer for the analytics. How many people viewed the post, how many clicked the link, how many didn’t? They will provide you with the numbers and you will analyze them and decide if this campaign was a success or loss.
This is how it’s done. If you are aspiring to become an influencer marketer then this might help you and learn more, you can always use YouTube, many people share their experiences over there. You will surely learn many things.

The Art of Digital Marketing – ADS
Advertisement has been the most important aspect of marketing. History goes long and we are not in the history class so we will skip it but the main thing to note about Ads is that throughout history, there have been many ways invented by businesses to advertise their product. Be it banners, Panaflex, or even the pamphlets. As technology advanced and television came, advertisements started to be televised and started to be shot in a video format. At first, black and white, and later on when technology progressed, Colored Ads started appearing. And then came the golden era of the internet. The one we are living in. broke the boundaries far and wide. Businesses and companies realized its endless potential and started advertising their products digitally. And as we know, Digital Ads. Many digital marketing agencies in the USA started to come to life. Not only in the USA, and throughout the world, but people also started building businesses based on digital marketing.
Nowadays you can find these ads almost on every site you visit on the internet. Even on this site, you are on reading this article. You can find ads on YouTube videos in video or picture form. In the case of websites, there are clickable ads and even ads on the main homepages. Google also offers ads through its service called Google ads. It charges you as pay per click or even pay per view. This means that you will pay Google based on the number of people who view your ads or click your ads. Pretty amazing. No? It provides complete demographics about the performance of your ads.
With digital marketing, the opportunities are endless. You can reach an audience far away from your country. Your product can have a global reach and you can sell it in the whole world right from the comfort of your couch. Isn’t it amazing?
With the internet, comes social media. And with social media, comes the word “global village”. You can advertise your product on social media but that’s the next topic of our blog so stay tuned for future blogs. Till then, PEACE!

4G VS 5G
The world of telecommunication is transforming day by day. The world is going towards more convenient solutions for connecting to a network. Everyone wants to have a fast connection. In the past, the world saw innovation in networking through the likes of 2G, 3G, and 4G. The latest technology is 5G. There have been a lot of advancements in connectivity throughout these network generations. And if we compare 5G with its predecessors, we can find ton lots of differences. So let’s compare the latest predecessor, 4G, with the latest generation, 5G, and find out what is the major difference between the two generations.
Speed
Radio waves have been used for wireless communication for over 120 years. We use them for TV broadcasting, and even on Wi-Fi.
Cellular networks also work on radio waves. These are the waves that connect mobile phone devices with a network. 4G is fast as it operates on the high frequency of the radio waves but 5G takes it to another level. It operates on 3 frequencies. Low bond frequencies, mid-bond frequencies, and high-bond frequencies.
Low frequency is used for mobile networks and TV broadcasting,
Mid-frequency is used for 4G and adds more capacity for the users
High-frequency is used in car sensors and for communicating with satellites, for 5G, they add even more capacity. 4G used to have increased frequencies which worked nicely but in crowded areas, users used to experience low speeds because data used to be stuck. 5G further increased the frequency paths 10 times. So now data can travel easily and users can experience seamless speeds even in crowded places. Using different frequencies for different purposes provides a better speed for all the users.
Capacity
4G used to have a limited capacity for connected users in a crowded area that’s why people used to experience low connection speed. But 5G makes it possible to have increased speed and capacity for users.
Battery
5G differentiates a device’s battery usage and acts accordingly. For example, a smart watch that runs on a small battery, 5G will provide a network that will consume very less power for it. For an industry robot, 5G can provide an extremely fast and stable connection.
These are some differences that make 5G the ultimate network generation and open new paths to further upgrading the future generations. The future holds so much for us and we will see much more advancements in the telecommunication field.

Graphic Designing and its Types
Visualization is always a good idea when you want to educate people or deliver your thoughts or findings. Human brain can understand visual representation more easily rather than showing them facts and figures. If we are talking about visualization then there is one thing which represents information in a more colorful way and that is graphic designing. It is a way to represent information about anything in a unique way. For example, a logo or a poster about your event. Typography, imagery and color are key components of graphic designing. There are many types of graphic designing. Let’s dive into it and find out what they are.
Visual Identity Graphic Design
Brands need a visual identity through which they want to imprint their name in the minds of public. That identity can be brand colors, brand shapes, or more commonly, the logo of the brand. A brand identity is how the organization communicates its personality, tone and essence. Designing the brand identity takes a very creative mind. Visual identity designing can be logo designing, typography or color palettes.
Marketing and advertising graphic designing
A marketing and advertising graphic designing can be known as showing the company through pamphlets and brochures. Ever seen a school prospectus? Yes. Exactly that. You can find marketing and advertising designs almost everywhere you go even on the public buses and trucks. It can be found digitally too in form power point presentations, email marketing templates, social media ads, and images on websites.
User Interface graphic design
Designing the prototypes and wireframes for websites and mobile apps is basically the user interface graphic design. This is a very interesting type of graphic design because use conduct a research before designing you ask people what they like and what they don’t. Collaboratively a design a created that eye pleasing and effective. When it is created, it is then forwarded to the development team.
Publication Graphic Design
This has been around since too long now. Print media is using this since eternity and now we know why. Whether it is a book cover or a magazine cover, or it can be the inside pages of a book or more commonly a magazine, newsletters, or annual reports. All uses publication graphic design. It is pleasing to the eye too.
Art and print graphic design
Designing a vector art to get it printed on your t-shirt. Sound good no? Yes it comes under the art and print graphic design.
Packaging graphic design
Designing for the packaging of products or even creating an eye catching packaging that leaves a good impact on the client comes under packaging graphic design.
All in all, you can graphic designing almost everywhere. We can break it down into so many categories and even in sub categories because as I said in the start, human minds understand visualization more easily than plain text or facts and figures. Colors leave a great impact on the human brains so make sure you do it perfectly. Graphic designing can lead your business to great heights.

Photography basics
When we talk about photography, the camera does make a difference but if you don’t have a high-end camera then you don’t need to worry. You can still take quality shots with your phone’s camera. You just need to know the basics.
There are multiple things you can learn about photography but you must know the three basic yet most effective aspects of photography. 1. ISO 2. Aperture 3. Shutter speed. These three can make or break your career as a photographer. You must have a sound knowledge about them and how to use them according to conditions
ISO
In simple words, ISO is simply a setting in your camera that will lighten or darken the photo. More ISO means a brighter picture. You can take photos in the dark if you increase your ISO. But that’s not all, there are some consequences if you increase the ISO too much. Your pictures will have a lot of grain in them also known as NOISE. This will make the picture almost non-usable. So brightening your pictures using ISO can be a No-No. Instead, you can brighten your pictures using a combination of aperture and shutter speed. More on that ahead.
APERTURE
In simple words, it is the door of the light. The more it opens, the more light will come in, the less the aperture, the less light will come in the lens. It is the opening of the lens’s diaphragm through which light passes. Aperture can be classified as the value written as, f/stop. For example f/16, f/11, f/8, etc.
Now the contradictory point is that the lesser the value of f/stop, the higher the aperture and the higher the exposure. The lower value represents the higher opening of the diaphragm. This also affects the depth of the image. A lower aperture will cause the background to be a more blurry and more focused object. Pretty confusing right? I felt the same when I studied about this. But o got pro when I started using it. So don’t feel blurry. You will get your grip on it once you start playing with it.
SHUTTER SPEED
Out of the three, this is my favorite, I like to take photos while moving, like when I am traveling and I find a pleasing sight, I capture it. So this feature really comes in handy for me. Basically, shutter speed is the closing and opening speed of the camera shutter. If you want to capture something which is moving like a car or running a horse, this will prove to be your best friend. Lower the shutter speed and take the photo. You will have a clear picture of the horse.
Similarly, if you want to capture light trails of moving traffic, you can increase the shutter speed, and believe me, the results will amaze you so much. This is why it is my favorite feature. I used to play with it and took some of my best shots using this feature.
These three are considered the 3 pillars of photography. If you master all three of them then believe me you will be ahead of everyone. Although there are more things you can learn about photography like white balance, moods, focal length, etc. you can learn about them all if you want but these three are a must.

Generalist VS Specialist
There are many people who start their careers without knowing where they want to go. They just go for whatever position is offered to them. They start learning things at work. And when they switch to another place, they learn something else. This keeps them in a loop of learning and forgetting things. They learn new things and forget old. They don’t become experts in anything. This makes them know about different things but if we ask some deep technical questions, they might not be able to answer because they are not experts in anything, they just know stuff in general. We call them generalists. Like sales and support generalists, HR generalists ETC.
Then there are people who specialize in a single thing or multiple things. Like a data scientist, like an engineer or a doctor. They are the master of one rather than being the jack of all trades. They are highly in demand and usually get paid a lot more than the generalists. But they can just stick to one field throughout their career. Switching the career is like climbing a mountain for them. Not impossible but it really takes a lot of courage and hard work for them to do it.
It’s not like generalists don’t get paid well, they can easily switch fields, and they can find more opportunities than the specialists because they know about multiple things.
So the million-dollar question arises. Which is good? A generalist? Or a Specialist?
I am going to be really honest, I think people should specialize in one thing, but they should not stop learning about new things. People should keep experimenting with new things so that they can have knowledge about different trades but when it comes to their field, they should be the king of it.

DATA CENTRES
Nowadays almost every business or organization owns or rents a data Centre. There are more than 7 million data centers in the world (Source: Statista) But the big question is, what exactly is a data Centre?
To answer in short, it is a very cold place where you can find lots of servers and blinking lights and in them is stored lots and lots of data. To answer in detail, read this full blog.
Nowadays, data is the new oil and every company wants to keep their data as secure as they can. They can’t afford to lose their data. Data can be of many types, it can be employee data, customer data, or secret and confidential data of the organization. All of this needs to be safe and for that data centers are used. All of this data should in digital form, can be on spreadsheets, databases etc. A data Centre is home to all of this data. Data centers are also used as the backups in case something bad happens to the official location of company. Data should be protected at all costs. Some companies also have three data centers at different locations just to be on the safe side.
Data centers help not only in storing data, but also in keeping the customer relationships. They store customer data like order details and complaints about products. Fetching such data and using it to provide customer service to customers can be very beneficial for the companies, all thanks to the data centers.
Ideal locations for data centers are where the electricity is cheap. Because data centers use tons lots of electricity to be up and running. The climate should be cold to save the cooling cost of the data center because they need to be kept chilled at all times.
So there you have it, little bit about data centers.
